Averil Caracalla was a female Human serving as an officer in the New Republic task force Republic Shield. She was captain of the Strike Cruiser Halberd when it was destroyed by Caelum rebels on a patrol through the Cadrel Expanse on 44:4:23. Along with the rest of her bridge crew, Averil perished instantaneously when the reactor core of her ship exploded.
