Imperial vessel. Part of the Star Destroyer Belligerent’s task force. Subsequently captured and refitted into the VSD-II Resurrection II

    History

Led a strike and capture operation against supply convoy near an aqua planet (#4), en route to New Trassk Base. Was partly successful, having capturing two of the vessels, and tracking down the remainder when Republic Shield forces led by the gunships Daze and Daunter responded to the distress call, reclaiming the captured convoy vessels, and driving the vessel off with a show of force. Withdrew from the system when the vessel’s shield systems were sufficiently hammered. (IBG402)

Led relocation operation of Imperial supplies from the compromised mining facility Mine 12XFT-3 near a brown planet (#5) to the Star Destroyer Belligerent’s main fleet buildup during Republic Shield task force’s investigation to the mining facility, led by the Assault Frigate Chiin'tal. Led Imperial forces from the area to the Belligerent’s staging area before Republic Shield forces could engage the vessel. Republic Shield pursuit forces tracked the vessel, happening upon the Imperial fleet buildup, and barely escaped from the Imperial task force. (IBG404)

Stationed with the Star Destroyer Belligerent’s task force when Republic Shield forces arrived and probed the fleet, then promptly withdrew, allowing a possible vector of origin to be plotted. Led an Imperial contingent force to pursue the intruder and neutralise it, while rest of the Belligerent’s task force proceeded out of the system. Tracked the incursive force to a Republic Shield task force in a region of space with a view of a spiral galaxy spiral galaxy (#76). Led Imperial forces against the task force, successfully bringing down the gunships Daze and Daunter, but lost its three escort ships, the Frigate Enforcer, and the Carrack Cruisers Vargus and Vigilant. Withdrew from the engagement when it had sustained too much damage, allowing Republic Shield vessels an incomplete victory. (IBG405)

Witnessed by Republic Shield reconnaissance forces led by the Dreadnaught Resurrection near a cluster of stars (#70) not far from New Trassk Base. Despite the damage to vessel from a previous Republic Shield ambush, the Imperial task force, led by the Star Destroyer Belligerent, launched an attack on the Dreadnaught, forcing it to flee from the area, and into an Imperial ambush led by the Modified Frigate Hypnotic near a red planet (#28) with a brown rocky moon (#8). (IBG406)

Part of Imperial task force led by the Star Destroyer Belligerent to New Trassk, and launched its forces in an attack upon Republic Shield forces in the area. Republic Shield defence forces had some initial successes, significantly thinning out the Imperial starfighter cover, and were then bolstered by the arrival of the Modified Frigate Celestial Fury. The opposing fleets were settled into battle configurations, and the Belligerent prepared to launch the main offensive against New Trassk Base. (IBG407)

Part of Imperial attack force led by the Star Destroyer Belligerent in an engagement against New Trassk Base and the defending Republic Shield forces, led by the Calamari Cruiser Rebel Fist. The bulk of the defending forces were blocking the way to the platform, while other elements of the fleet surrounded the Imperial attack force, diffusing the focus of the attack. Escorted the Star Destroyer Belligerent into battle, and directly engaged the Strike Cruiser Dragon's Fire, and the Modified Frigate Celestial Fury, who were attacking the Imperial taskforce’s left flank. After an extensive battle the Imperial attack line was broken, allowing Republic Shield forces to concentrate their attacks on separated individual Imperial ships. As the Imperial flagship, the Belligerent was significantly targeted by Republic Shield forces, with its fall heralding the loss of almost the entire Imperial attack force. The vessel, heavily damaged from its tangle with the Dragon’s Fire and Celestial Fury, staged a retreat and was the only Imperial ship able to escape from the red gas planet (#2) New Trassk’s orbit. (IBG408)

Discovered by Republic Shield expeditionary forces near a volcanic planet (#11), where the vessel had rendezvoused with a repair craft, the Strike Cruiser Salamander. Republic Shield forces, reinforced by the Light Calamari Cruiser Madron, engaged the Imperial forces, destroying the Salamander, and disabling the vessel. The assault transport group Storm launched from the Madron and boarded with the vessel, taking control of it and relocating some of the crew to the Madron via shuttle group Lambda. (IBG409)

    Modifications

Refitted by Republic Shield forces and renamed the Resurrection II. (IBG509)
