SkyNet provides security for the temple, and their main contribution is a full battalion of 736 soldiers to the security and defense of the temple. A full company, 181 soldiers, are primarily trained as security guards, though they have a thorough grounding in combat as well.

Also provided by SkyNet is a full wing of 39 craft: a command flight of 3 T-65AC4 X-Wings, a squadron of Series II E-Wing Starfighters, a squadron of T-65AC2 X-Wings, and a squadron of V-Wing Airspeeders. These fighters are ready to be scrambled at a moments notice, though their pilots aren't always as ready.

Defense Emplacements
 +
The temple has a total of two anti-orbital turrets, a PPC Cannon and an EMP Cannon; twenty anti-air turrets -- 6 dual turbolaser turrets, 8 quad laser turrets, and 6 dual laser turrets (three on each anti-orbital gun); and multiple anti-vehicle and anti-infantry turrets, including eight combination heavy laser cannon / dual blaster cannon turrets in the courtyard. SkyNet's armed branch provides gunnery crews for each emplacement.

In addition to the SkyNet provided defense forces, there are also multiple Jedi trainees, several fully trained Jedi, and random ex-military hanger-ons living at the temple. If the temple ever were to be attacked, most of its inhabitants would fight to defend their home.

Relations with the New Jedi Order
 +
Ties with the Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4, and by extension the New Jedi Order, are loose and shaky. Skywalker and Starkiller, while having respect for each other, both think that the other is taking the wrong path for the future of the Jedi Order. Starkiller prefered a more inclusive organization with less of the strict Jedi dogma and more variety in Force traditions. Meanwhile, Skywalker would rather rebuild a more dogmatic version of the Jedi Order, especially when it comes to the light side and the dark side.
 +
 +
Another point of contention is how much support should the Jedi give to the New Republic: Skywalker is a large supporter of the NR and his praxeum is a member organization; the Assembly is now independent, though still supportive of the fledging Republic. As a result, Luke's Jedi Praxeum enjoys full government subsidization, while the Assembly only gets a small subsidy from the planetary government of Bethlamore.
 +
 +
The two organizations do, however, share resources to a limited extent and occasionally work together. Most of the shared resources include information on Jedi teachings and the history of the old Jedi Order. Other resources often include lightsaber-grade crystals picked from Bethlamore's Mt. Ilum by Randy in exchange for fuel and teaching supplies from Yavin 4.
 +
 +
After Master Starkiller and Master Ciredik resigned consecutively, relations with the Assembly Jedi have remained cold. There has been no overt attempt from either side to rekindle relationships between the two groups, and it seems they will continue to go their separate ways.

Temple of Adhe Zion SIDE VIEW.JPG

A temple built by Bethlamorian Sith warlord Adhe Zion to be the center of his kingdom, as well as a place of worship for his followers. After his death at the hands of his two sons, a tomb was constructed in the catacombs deep under the temple proper: Zion's grave is called the Tomb of Adhe Zion, and is the site of a powerful Sith altar.

The temple was converted into a Jedi base by Lord Hoth's Army of Light after the Republic invasion and liberation of Bethlamore from Sith forces during the Light and Darkness War. It was abandoned by the Jedi Order circa 200 BBY; used as a Seperatist base, and then a Republic base, during the Clone Wars; and was most recently converted into the headquarters for the Assembly of the Force and its Academy.

Currently the Temple of Adhe Zion serves as headquarters for the Assembly of the Force, a refuge for various unaffiliated peoples and refugees, and a base for the independent group of smugglers, spies, and mercs, SkyNet, which is headed by Randy.

Layout

The largest of the temples built on Bethlamore by the Sith, the Great Temple of Adhe Zion is a grand construction, with the main section of the temple standing 360 feet tall, with the Great Hall resting atop it, adding another 25 feet to the buildings height; its base is 1004 feet by 1004 feet, with each level recessed inwards 10 feet on each side. The temples outer walls are four feet thick, and are specially constructed from an extra-durable, alchemically-enhanced stone. A side view of the temple is available here

External Features

 • Outside stairs: These two staircases run up the center of the northwest side of the temple, allowing access into each individual floor from the outside of the temple. In between the two sets of stairs are doors on each level, allowing access to that level.
 • Rooftop Gardens: The gardens surrounding and on top of the Great Hall. These gardens contain plants native to Bethlamore, as well as some non-native flowers. This is everyone's favorite hang-out, it seems.

Internal Features

 • Stairwell: At the very center of the temple is the stairwell which leads up to the 29th floor. These stairs connect to the stairs in the Grand Entrance Hall, allowing people to walk to the levels above, if they so wish.
 • Turbolift Bank: The turbolift bank is also in the center of the temple: the main turbolift is in the center of the stairwell, riding along the temple's central axis; the two other turbolifts are on either side of the stairwell. The turbolifts only run up to the 29th floor, where you must use the stairs to get up to the rooftop or to the Great Hall. The entrance to access the main turbolift from the Grand Entrance Hall runs between the two grand marble staircases which lead up into the stairwell.

First Floor

The first floor is double the height of the other 28 floors inside the main section of the temple, rising 24 feet above ground level; the inside of this floor's walls measures 1000 feet by 1000 feet.

The temple's main doors are set in the center of the south-eastern face of the building. Once inside the grand double doors, one finds themself in the Grand Entrance Hall, a wide, highly decorated entrance hall with doors on either side leading into the Jedi Library. At the end of the hall is the turbolift bank and two marble staircases which lead into the stairwell.

The Jedi Library surrounds the Great Entrance Hall on three sides, and it is made up of a ground level and a second level. The second level is a wrap-around balcony which follows the walls of the Great Library, and it overlooks the Grand Entrance Hall: the border between the second level of the Jedi Library and the Great Entrance Hall are elaborate columns which lead into the entrance hall's vaulted ceiling. The Jedi Library is divided up into specific sections, and in-between sections on the ground level are tables and work desks.

Second Floor

The Assembly Medical Ward, also known as the MedBay, occupies the entirety of this floor, with the staircase and the turbolift banks exiting into the waiting room. There are two bacta wards, a casualty ward, a morgue, operating rooms, rooms for examinations and recovery, et cetera on this floor. It's basically a small hospital built inside the temple.

Third Floor

Containing primarily the Mess Hall and the kitchens in the third floor. There are also several lounges, class rooms, store rooms, and the temple's laundry area. The mess hall is located near the turbolift bank and starwell, with the kitchens right next door on one side of the mess hall.

The Mess Hall essentially stretches from the northwest wall, were there is an entrance to the outside, to well inside the temple, ending against the back of the turbolift bank. The kitchens are off to the northern side of the mess, and are large enough to house a large droid kitchen staff. The reasoning for such a large kitchen staff isn't apparent until you realize that at the temple there are usually around six thousand people to feed a day, more than that during times when the refugee population is high.

Fourth Floor

The fourth floor houses the temple's primary physical training facilities. There are gyms, sparring chambers, locker rooms, and spas on this floor. There are also an assortment of supply closets.

Fifth Floor

The first dorm level, the fifth floor is almost entirely dormitories, except for a lounge on the northern end, a fountain room on the southern end, a public bath, and a laundry area. Jacob and Raven both live on this floor in dorms, and Cay-Qel Jade lives in a corner suite, directly below Randy's.

There are roughly 3,000 small dorms on the fifth floor, and four corner suites: two 1 bedroom suites, one 2 bedroom suite, one 3 bedroom suite. Each dorm is roughly 288 square feet, while a 1-bedroom suite is 576 square feet, a 2-bedroom is 864 square feet, and a 3-bedroom is 1,152 square feet. The floor has a population of roughly 3,150 people, including the familes of administration staffers and families of refugees.

Fifth Floor Inhabitants:

Sixth Floor

Another dormitory level, the sixth floor is a mixture of dormitories, suites, personal offices, a public bath, and a lounge. Randy's apartment suite is on this floor, as is his office.

The sixth floor contains over 2,000 dormatories and four corner suites: one 1 bedroom suites, two 2 bedroom suites, one 3 bedroom suite. Almost 1,730 people live on the sixth floor.

Randy's apartment is a corner suite on the eastern corner of the temple, while Randy's office is near the turbolift bank, and lacks an outside view. Instead, it has artificial viewports which can be set to a certain view take from one of the cameras placed on the temples exterior.

Sixth Floor Inhabitants:

Seventh Floor

The seventh floor is also a dormitory level, containing dorms, suites, personal offices, meditation chambers, a lounge, and a public bath. Eric Skrevski lives here in an apartment suite directly above Randy's.

This floor also contains 2,000 dorms, one 1 bedroom suites, two 2 bedroom suites, one 3 bedroom suite.

Seventh Floor Inhabitants: (incomplete)

Eighth Floor

The eighth floor holds the Communications Center, the Computer Banks, workshops, and labs.

Ninth Floor

The ninth floor is a pleasant mixture of class rooms, workshops, labs, nurseries, and indoor gardens. There is also a teacher's lounge and a fountain room.

Tenth Floor

The tenth floor contains the Administration Level and is a mixture of offices, lounges, store rooms, briefing rooms, and conference rooms. There is a public refresher as well.

Eleventh Floor

The eleventh floor houses workshops, labs, scattered lounges, meditation chambers, and some class rooms.

Twelfth Floor

The twelth floor contains 1,500 dorms, 4 corner suites (three 1 bedroom suites, one 2 bedroom suite), and personal offices, in addition to indoor gardens, a public bath, a lounge, and a laundry area.

Twelfth Floor Inhabitants: (incomplete)

Thirteenth Floor

The thirteenth floor is a purely dormitory level in the style of the fifth floor. All rooms on this floor are dormitories except for a lounge on the northern end, a fountain room on the southern end, a public bath, and a laundry area.

This floor contains 2,500 dorms, and 4 corner suites: two 1 bedroom suites, one 2 bedroom suite, one 3 bedroom suite.

Thirteenth Floor Inhabitants: (incomplete)

Fourteenth Floor

The fourteenth floor holds a mixture of dormitories, suites, personal offices, a public bath, and a lounge.

In terms of residential space, it has 2000 dorms, two 1 bedroom suites, two 2 bedroom suites

Fourteenth Floor Inhabitants: (incomplete)

Fifteenth Floor

The fifteenth floor is used primarily for storage, with some workshops, labs, and a few sparring chambers scattered about.

Sixteenth Floor

The sixteenth floor contains the Command Center, the Armory, briefing rooms, offices, labs, and a barrack.

Seventeenth Floor

This floor is entirely made up of indoor gardens, and contains many rare species of flora, and some fauna, from dozens of worlds. One of the favorite hangout spots on this floor are the koi ponds.

Eighteenth Floor

This is the newly created Commerce Level of the temple, and it contains many small shops operated by temple inhabitants. Some of the businesses are owned by temple denizens, some by the temple itself, and the rest belong to outside companies. One can find affordable clothing, including Jedi and SkyNet uniforms, groceries, electronics, cleaning supplies, et cetera. It basically functions as a mini-mall inside the temple, and one can even get services such as their taxes filed for them, their hair styled, their clothes tailored, their equipment repaired, and more.

Nineteenth Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists after the Clone Wars. There is an unused barrack and some workshops on this level.

Twentieth Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists after the Clone Wars.

Recently, Zak has permitted Markus free reign of the floor to begin construction of an demolitions workshop.

Twenty-first Floor

This floor was commandeered by Zak Ciredik, temple artificer and Sith connoisseur. The original decorum of this level has been restored with painstaking effort to its pre-Republic condition and functionality. From the main turbolift shaft, a visitor to this level must weave through a meandering, switchback hallway to reach the entrance to Zak’s lab. Various nefarious security measures have been installed along this hallway which has been copied or flat out taken from other Sith archeological sites on Bethlamore. These precautions are justified as Zak’s lab doubles as a repository for most of the lesser artifacts and potentially dangerous trinkets brought back from the temple’s expeditions to various sites as well as serving as a storehouse for some of the Temple’s miscellaneous lightsaber components. Students wishing to learn… unique… techniques of lightsaber construction can often find the artificer a willing instructor in his workshop.

Twenty-second Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists.

Twenty-third Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists.

Twenty-fourth Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists.

Twenty-fifth Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists.

Twenty-sixth Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists.

Twenty-seventh Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Republic and Seperatists, as well as destroyed equipment left by the Jedi Order.

Twnety-eighth Floor

This floor is primarily unused, containing forgotten equipment left by the Jedi Order before they withdrew from Bethlamore. Much of the equipment left on this level, a dormitory level, has been vandalized by the Empire during the Purges.

Twenty-ninth Floor

The twenty ninth floor contains the Council Chamber and indoor gardens, fountains, and meditation chambers.

The Council Chamber is on the southeastern face of the temple, along the southeastern wall. The other three walls of the chamber are decorated with murals.

There were also three staircases leading upwards: one into the Great Hall, and the other two leading to the rooftop.

Great Hall

Sitting atop the temple, the Great Hall does not follow the normal architectural structure of the rest of the temple: it is 500 feet long by 200 feet wide. Around the walls of the Great Hall are the Rooftop Gardens. The Great Hall was used for ceremonies and special occasions.

The interior of the hall... Well, one could imagine a church, only the pews have been replaced with stone benches and the stained glass with statues. Large, 2.5 meter high statues lined the walls of the Great Hall, each of them depicting a different Knight or Master that has served the Assembly of the Force in some capacity or another.

At the far end from the door, where one might imagine the pulpit to be, is a raised platform roughly 1 meter off of the ground, with stairs leading up to it along either wall. The platform took up the back 20 feet of the hall, and itself had eight statues on it, all arranged in a semi-circle facing the Hall: A heavilly hooded figure that likely represented Master Ciredik, a stunning representation of Master Sconn, a statue of Markus, unhelmeted, in his recently deceased armor, and four other statues. One of which looks like it was also in the process of depicting another armored figure, but was left half undone, possibly intentionally, as it only represented the bottom half of the suit. The remaining statues were left blank, their unformed faces also turned towards the assembly.

Basement

The basement houses ancient artifacts and texts that belong to the library; many of these are accessable by most of the temple's denizens, but some are limited to Force-Sensitive Assembly members only, some are forbidden to be accessed by students, and the most dangerous require the highest clearances to access. There is storage of materials such as excess food down here as well.

Sub-Basement

The sub-basement is pretty much excess storage, and contains random pieces of Clone Wars-era material cleared out of the upper floors when the temple was being refurbished for use by the Assembly. It also contains the upper maintainence levels for the temple's two buried reactors, as well as access stairs down into the underground lake and the catacombs, which eventually lead down to the Tomb of Adhe Zion. There are also heavier munitions here than in the temple's upper levels, and this heavy munitions armory is very secure, and contains few explosives.

In the northeast corner of the sub-basement is an access hatch down into a shielded bunker designed to defend the temple's citizenry.

 • Northwest Reactor: The secondary reactor, this reactor is just as large and powerful as the temple's main reactor. All of the secondary reactor's power is sold to the government of Bethlamore as excess energy. Located under the courtyard and heavily shielded against assault.
 • Southeast Reactor: The primary reactor, the southeast reactor powers the entire temple and most of the Assembly Complex. A margin of this reactor's excess energy is sold to the Bethlamorian government. Like the secondary, this reactor is under the courtyard and is heavily shielded.
 • Heavy Munitions Armory: This baby contains heavy weapons such as repeating blaster rifles, blaster cannons, artillery units, et cetera. Located in the southwest corner of the sub-basement, this is technically under the courtyard and not the temple; this armory is also heavily shielded.

Underground Bunker

A two level 600 foot by 500 foot bunker buried under the northeast corner of the temple's sub-basement. It is heavily shielded and has room enough for roughly 6,000+ individuals. It was designed to protect the denizens of the temple from aerial and orbital assault.

Based out of the Temple of Bethlamore, this organization is for Force-sensitives, whether Jedi or not. While Jedi make up the majority of the Assembly's members, non-Jedi are just as welcome inside the group. Membership is only open to Force-sensitives, but the Assembly houses many non-Force sensitives within its home, including refugees.

SkyNet provides security for the temple, and their main contribution is a full battalion of 736 soldiers to the security and defense of the temple. A full company, 181 soldiers, are primarily trained as security guards, though they have a thorough grounding in combat as well.

Fighters

Also provided by SkyNet is a full wing of 39 craft: a command flight of 3 T-65AC4 X-Wings, a squadron of Series II E-Wing Starfighters, a squadron of T-65AC2 X-Wings, and a squadron of V-Wing Airspeeders. These fighters are ready to be scrambled at a moments notice, though their pilots aren't always as ready.

Defense Emplacements

The temple has a total of two anti-orbital turrets, a PPC Cannon and an EMP Cannon; twenty anti-air turrets -- 6 dual turbolaser turrets, 8 quad laser turrets, and 6 dual laser turrets (three on each anti-orbital gun); and multiple anti-vehicle and anti-infantry turrets, including eight combination heavy laser cannon / dual blaster cannon turrets in the courtyard. SkyNet's armed branch provides gunnery crews for each emplacement.

Other

In addition to the SkyNet provided defense forces, there are also multiple Jedi trainees, several fully trained Jedi, and random ex-military hanger-ons living at the temple. If the temple ever were to be attacked, most of its inhabitants would fight to defend their home.

Relations with the New Jedi Order

Ties with the Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4, and by extension the New Jedi Order, are loose and shaky. Skywalker and Starkiller, while having respect for each other, both think that the other is taking the wrong path for the future of the Jedi Order. Starkiller prefered a more inclusive organization with less of the strict Jedi dogma and more variety in Force traditions. Meanwhile, Skywalker would rather rebuild a more dogmatic version of the Jedi Order, especially when it comes to the light side and the dark side.

After Master Starkiller and Master Ciredik resigned consecutively, relations with the Assembly Jedi have remained cold. There has been no overt attempt from either side to rekindle relationships between the two groups, and it seems they will continue to go their separate ways.
