    Imperial vessel.

    History

Led Imperial forces in a surprise attack against the Star Destroyer Prometheus and Republic Shield forces escorting the shuttle Bur'kla. Distracted Republic Shield forces while the shuttle Bur’kla unexpectedly changed its flight course and entered the vessel’s hangar. Withdrew from the combat zone immediately after the Bur’kla was safely aboard, stranding the vessel’s starfighter force which was annihilated by Republic Shield forces after the vessel’s departure. (R2F901)

Led an Imperial attack force against the Modified Frigate Angelfire and its support ships attempting to withdraw from the Havion system near navigation buoy B-18. Imperial forces moved to bombard the fleeing ships however Republic Shield defence forces shattered the attack force, stalling the Imperial advance on the Angelfire’s task force. The Republic Shield counter assault was costly, as the corvettes Quapaw I and Quapaw II were both heavily damaged. The Frigate Gegenschein also suffered fairly severe damage. The vessel itself only suffered minor damage to shield systems. Imperial forces struck a fairly successful blow against the retreating forces, heavily damaging the corvette Survivor. Despite this achievement, Republic Shield forces were able to successfully fall back to the Modified Frigate Angelfire, as the Angelfire and its surviving forces reached the navigation buoy B-18 and escaped into hyperspace. (R2F903)

Led the Imperial task force engaged by Republic Shield forces led by the Dreadnaught Cybrus. Imperial forces succeeded in driving off the Republic Shield attackers, and the vessel proceeded to lead Imperial forces in dogged pursuit of the retreating task force. However the Republic Shield ploy was revealed to be a trap, as the vessel and its task force was forcibly removed from hyperspace by the Interdictor Chains of Justice near a pair of space platforms, which had previously been under control by Imperial forces, and a large ambush force led by the Star Destroyer Prometheus. Imperial and Republic Shield forces joined in battle, Imperial forces attempting to disable the Chains of Justice’s interdiction field while Republic Shield forces attempted to destroy the Imperial task force. Both sides took damage, with Imperial forces victoriously neutralising the Dreadnaught Cybrus after it attempted to prevent the Interdictor Chains of Justice from being fired upon. After taking fairly severe losses, Republic Shield blocked Imperial attempts to take out the Chains of Justice and turned the attack force back onto itself, attempting the destroy the vessel’s task force through attrition. This tactic was successful, as the corvettes Quapaw I and Quapaw II fell in defence of the vessel, which then cut down the vessel’s attack force significantly, allowing the Frigate Gegenschein and the vessel to be accessed more readily by Republic Shield forces. The vessels steadily took on heavy levels of damage, with Republic Shield forces gaining the upper hand. In the midst of the Imperial defeat, the shuttle Bur’kla launched from the vessel and attempted to make a run from the combat zone, however Republic Shield forces went out of their way to intercept and destroy it. Imperial forces were failing, but unable to escape due to the Chains of Justice’s interdiction field. Steadily the Imperial task force was defeated; however the vessel did cause widespread damage to Republic Shield forces before succumbing to overwhelming fire. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. Behind the Scenes

This first appearance of this ship was incorrectly named the Indominable, which is an incorrect spelling of an Imperial Star Destroyer defeated in the previous campaign. Retroactively renamed by the Logistics Office.
