Installing the RS Mod Pack
Note: DOING THESE STEPS WILL IN NO WAY CHANGE WHATEVER MINECRAFT YOU ALREADY HAVE INSTALLED IN YOUR COMPUTER. A separate install will be created for the modded version.
Note 2: getting it onto the FTB or AT launcher was a giant hassle. This is easier for everyone. Believe me.
Note 3: Following these directions won't help you unless you're whitelisted on the server. Contact Lamin, or Licah to verify that you are.
Note 4: When updating, DELETE the Mods/config folders and replace with the new downloaded version. This will prevent any errors as mods are sometimes added/removed.
- Download the Mods!
- Unzip that file. You should see 2 folders, mods and configs.
- Download into its own folder a copy of MultiMC 5
- Run multimc 5
- Top right, add your Minecraft account
- Click new (paper with star); Name it whatever you want, and select the 1.6.4 version (*optional* click the image to change it)
- Either right click, or use the menu and select EDIT MODS
- Click Version tab
- Click the "Install FORGE" button then select Version 9.11.1.965 (should be the top one) INSTALL THIS VERSION ONLY (even if there is a newer version!) from the next window.
- Close and then hit play, once everything loads quit the game
- Either Right click or use menu and click INSTANCE FOLDER
- Open the Minecraft folder
- Copy both mods and configs that you downloaded from the RS Site (you should be overwriting the mods folder, but don't worry nothing is there to overwrite)
