Jarn Farron is the Commanding Officer of the STRKC Hopewell's Flight Training Squadron. Generally found to be full of equal parts whiskey and regret, Jarn's post aboard the Hopewell is his last chance to prove himself worthy of being behind the controls of a fighter, where he's easily the most talented pilot aboard the ship....at least when he's sober.

Military Service

A natural pilot from the first moment he settled in behind a flight yoke, Jarn rose quickly through the ranks of the New Republic's starfighter corps. Jarn saw extensive action during the battles of the Rebellion, and not long afterwards found himself in command of his own fighter wing aboard a Mon Cal.

A later misunderstanding involving a Vice Admiral's daughter led to his subsequent demotion and reassignment to the far reaches of the Outer Rim, whiling away his days hauling cargo and drinking himself into ever larger growing stupors.

His surprise appointment as Commanding Officer of the 324th Experimental Training Squadron aboard the Strike Cruiser Hopewell is his last chance to prove himself to be the pilot and officer he once was, though the state of the ship and its crew might make that harder than he first thought.
