Also known as Halyn Lance, Joel heads up our SWG PA and is thus the Vanguard Fleet CO. Prior to leading the PA, he also served time as the RSPA's starfighter operations director. On a broader scale, he also served as the Alliance's Starfighter Operations Coordinator on Starsider, as well as running weekly story arc events for six months.

He still officially leads the defunct Ghost Squadron, and was the last commander of PBF's Phoenix Squadron. He served as a Grey-Alpha Squadron instructor and also spent time as the unit's executive officer.

He also served with the Katarn Commandos for some time, participating heavily in fiction writing with the group.
