Licah Fox

Jump to navigationJump to search

Rear Admiral Licah "He Left Us" Fox has served in a variety of roles in the Rebel Squadrons, most notably Fleet Commander but also Internet Officer and Fleet CO of the RgF, R2F, and other high-echelon positions. Perhaps his longest-lasting contributions are in the form of the RS website, which is still essentially shaped by Licah's guiding vision. He is also known for his varied and numerous project ideas for the club, many of which can be found scattered around this wiki. He is considered by some to be one of the leading authorities on the Rebel Squadrons, and is often consulted when present for new undertakings. However, he retired from the RS as a whole in September 2006 and now serves in an advisory role.

Current status

Licah is not on any active RS rosters, but has resumed occasional website work. His current project is making a website for the fully-featured "postgraduate" Academy that he has always wanted, and he continues to assist Josh with various aspects of the website, handle specific tasks relating to ORW3 that are needed by Dave, and make various edits to the RS wiki. He is reachable either via AIM (licahfox), by leaving a message on his wiki talk page, or via email (ask Dave or Josh for the current address).

Piloting

Licah was an excellent single-player pilot (in X-Wing, TIE Fighter, and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter), particularly at devising mission strategies. He was a quality XvT MP melee pilot in 2002, when that game was still popular, ranking among the top players in WoW. He was also an expert mission builder, especially for X-Wing.

Licah consistently ranked among the top pilots for X-Wing, TIE, and XvT during his piloting career, and achieved Top Gun for each game on multiple occasions.

Internet Office

Licah is perhaps most well-known in the RS for his website- and command-related duties. Possessing a keen understanding of the club and considerable experience programming, Licah was equipped to make the website and club function much more efficiently than it had at points in the past.

Miscellaneous

His mom is named Raisin; the revelation of this information ruined the successful use of "your mom" jokes in the B&G, which made everyone sad pandas.
