The Logistics Office handles fictional aspects of the RS, and contributes to the Game information project.

Projects

  • fix site design - talk to TJ if you need help
  • fill in more information on main page
  • no, what the hell is up with the website? There is nothing useful on here, the nav links are all to things off-site. We need new nav links, and an entirely new focus. Fortunately TJ is likely going to make a new site design, so he will be able to help with this.

OOB

  • Just act in an advisory role to the various RS units. You know it goes - just say "it's not realistic to have that many ships, try to consolidate", etc. But ultimately, it's up to those fleets. If something is seriously bad, you'll need the FC's support for telling the fleet that they need to actually get rid of the ship in whatever way they can.

Game information

  • This is the best office for maintaining the game information site, so get over to the wiki and add stuff. And don't tell me there's nothing to add, or you don't know anything about the given game, cause there is a huge amount of room for new stuff right now. The only limit here is your own time and energy, so give it a few minutes whenever you have a chance. Try to do some games that haven't been covered yet - get their important data in there.

Fiction

  • Find out precisely where and when all the units in the RS are, fictionally, and compile a list to put on the LO's website. Make a fictional history of the entire RS (condensing tons of history into a readable format). You can work with the HO on this (after all, the HO used to be part of the LO).

Planets

This stuff is cool and all, but rarely gets used in the RS. The mission, then, is two-fold:

  • First and foremost, promote it among members of the RS, especially unit command staff that are in charge of storyline stuff;
  • Second, go over current material with a fine-toothed comb and make sure it is all accurate and up-to-date, and check with command staff and units' websites to see if there is anything that can be added.
