A world far too hot to support life, Mantus is a hell. Amazingly enough, a single mining station exists on the fiery planet. However, the station is only operable when it is not facing the sun. Therefore, it sits in one of the few areas that do not melt due to the suns heat during the day hours.

A strange phenomenon has attracted distant viewers to Mantus. Due to its proximity to the sun, occasional bursts of magma are common during the day. However, these majestic fountains are not the cause of underground pressures, but instead occur as the ground is super heated and then pulled free by the star's gravity.
