The Nitram Lutha Hyperboulevard is named after the infamous Defel anarchist and peace activist, Nitram Lutha. It runs galactic-east from the Aurora system to the Baphomet system, where it angles slightly galactic-south to head into the Kiaren Sector before angling galactic-north into Wild Space. This first world outside of New Republic control on this trade route Jadis. The Rimma Trade Route intersects this hyperlane in the Corona system inside the Greeop Sector.

Imperial Use

This route is the only way directly into the Greeop Sector from the Imperial-occupied Aurora Sector was via this route due to several stellar anomalies which lie between the two sectors. This made Imperial incursions into the New Republic-held Greeop Sector very difficult, as they either had to travel via the Nitram Lutha Hyperboulevard or travel quite a ways galactic-north or galactic-south to go around the anomalies.

To the galactic-south they had to travel along the Rimma Trade Route and travel galactic-north through hostile space occupied by the Clans. To the galactic-north they had to travel through New Republic space to either the Rimma Trade Route or one of it's regional analogs and travel galactic-south to the Corona system, where they would have to merge onto the Rimma Trade Route anyways.

Once traveling along the Rimma to the Greeop Sector, they were three key New Republic defense points before the Greeop System: to the galactic-north border of the sector was the Corona system, while to the galactic-south border was the Bonro system; 5 light-years galactic-north of the Greeop system on the Rimma was the Tajir system, which contains the fortress world of Ged. Along all three points there were interdictors stationed which could regulate traffic along the hyperlane, thus making Imperial attack attempts along the Rimma very tricky.
