Imperial vessel. Part of the Zodiac Battle Fleet.

    History

Travelled to the Synastry facility to rendezvous with the rest of the Zodiac Battle Fleet at the rendezvous point. Arrived during an undercover Republic Shield reconnaissance operation led by the captured Victory Star Destroyer Kingpin. The Kingpin used its battle damage to fool Imperial forces into preparing a repair operation while a reconnaissance force roamed the area collecting data of the assembled craft. The reconnaissance operation was revealed when the Calamari Cruiser Sagittarius arrived and alerted Imperial forces to the true allegiance of the Kingpin. The Victory Star Destroyer then attempted to withdraw from the outpost while Imperial forces attempted to bring it down. They failed, as the Kingpin and its reconnaissance force escaped into hyperspace. (RgF402)

Delivered Imperial forces to contest Republic Shield occupation of the abandoned pirate platform Kodiak. Promptly withdrew from the engagement zone having delivered forces to the battle, which were defeated by New Republic reinforcements led by the Strike Cruiser Sulu. (RgF403)

Part of Imperial forces led by the Strike Cruiser Scorpio in an attack against the newly captured and repaired New Republic platform Katana after the standing defensive fleet had been drawn off to contest Imperial forces elsewhere. Helped assault the station and defending Republic Shield forces. Attempted to disable and capture the station with transport group Slav, which launched from the Strike Cruiser Scorpio, and assault transport group Sloth, which launched from the vessel, but these forces were prevented from boarding the platform. Republic Shield forces hampered Imperial efforts, the final crushing blow being the arrival of Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Victory Star Destroyer Overseer, formerly the Kingpin. Republic Shield forces rallied to the Overseer, and inflicted enough damage upon the Zodiac ships to force them to retreat. Once the vessel’s shields were disabled, the vessel withdrew from the combat zone, abandoning the attack on the platform. (RgF404)

Part of Imperial detention force led by the Dreadnaught Cancer which was responsible for holding the captured Victory Star Destroyer Overseer while awaiting a prison ship to arrive and take the captured crew from the Overseer. Republic Shield undercover forces disguised as the anticipated Imperial force led by the Escort Carrier Gemini arrived escorting the freighters Triton I and Triton II, which were presented as the ships available to relocate the prisoners from the Victory Star Destroyer. However, Imperial forces did not realise until too late to act that the supposed prison ships were not vectoring towards the Overseer, as they were instead bearing down on the Dreadnaught Cancer and the vessel. The freighter Triton I, loaded and wired with explosives, rammed the vessel, permanently decommissioning it. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (RgF407)
