Imperial vessel. Part of the Zodiac Battle Fleet.

    History

Originally the New Republic Calamari Cruiser Tributary, captured by Imperial forces. Travelled to the Synastry facility to rendezvous with the rest of the Zodiac Battle Fleet at the rendezvous point. Arrived during an undercover Republic Shield reconnaissance operation led by the captured Victory Star Destroyer Kingpin and alerted the assembled Imperial forces of the deception. The Victory Star Destroyer then attempted to withdraw from the outpost while Imperial forces attempted to bring it down. They failed, as the Kingpin and its reconnaissance force escaped into hyperspace. (RgF402)

Led an Imperial strike force in an ambush against a New Republic task force led by the Strike Cruiser Sulu which had been lured away from defence of the platform Katana. Imperial forces successfully bombarded the four New Republic capital ships extensively, stripping them of their protective deflector shields. Capture craft entered the combat zone and prepared to capture the Frigate Corinne, the Strike Cruiser Lore and the Frigate Eidolon. However the New Republic task force was reinforced by Republic Shield forces led by the Victory Star Destroyer Overseer, which quickly swept through the combat zone, devastating the capture efforts, and gradually pushing back the Imperial task force. Despite the Republic Shield force’s efforts, the vessel directly engaged the Strike Cruiser Sulu, with the sustained bombardment resulting in the annihilation of the New Republic command ship. This significant victory was tainted slightly by the rescue of the three disabled New Republic warships, which had been repaired by assault transport group Celia from the Overseer, and limped from the combat zone, escaping to hyperspace. At this turn of events, the vessel led the Imperial withdrawal from the engagement zone, seemingly signalling victory for Republic Shield forces. However, the withdrawal of the vessel’s strike force was merely a distraction for a second task force which ambushed the Overseer, and resulted in the successful Imperial capture of the Victory Star Destroyer. (RgF405)

Part of Imperial reinforcements led by the Victory Star Destroyer Leo, which arrived to assist Imperial forces led by the Dreadnaught Aries who had fallen into a Republic Shield trap led by the Interdictor Chains of Justice. Reinforcements arrived too late to rescue the Imperial task force, which was annihilated by the time the vessel arrived in the combat zone. Imperial forces attempted to temper the defeat, with the vessel bombarding and driving off the Interdictor Chains of Justice while the Victory Star Destroyer Leo scattered Republic Shield forces and torched the Escort Carrier Gemini, which had been used to lure the Dreadnaught Aries’s task force to its demise.
