Imperial vessel. Part of the Zodiac Battle Fleet.

    History

Stationed at the Synastry facility while waiting for the rest of the Zodiac Battle Fleet to arrive at the rendezvous point. Present during an undercover Republic Shield reconnaissance operation led by the captured Victory Star Destroyer Kingpin. The Kingpin used its battle damage to fool Imperial forces into preparing a repair operation while a reconnaissance force roamed the area collecting data of the assembled craft. The reconnaissance operation was revealed when the Calamari Cruiser Sagittarius arrived and alerted Imperial forces to the true allegiance of the Kingpin. The Victory Star Destroyer then attempted to withdraw from the outpost while Imperial forces attempted to bring it down. They failed, as the Kingpin and its reconnaissance force escaped into hyperspace. (RgF402)

Led Imperial forces against the newly captured and repaired New Republic platform Katana after the standing defensive fleet had been drawn off to contest Imperial forces elsewhere. Led the assault against the station and defending Republic Shield forces. Attempted to disable and capture the station with transport group Slav, which launched from the vessel, and assault transport group Sloth, which launched from the Frigate Pisces, but these forces were prevented from boarding the platform. Republic Shield forces hampered Imperial efforts, the final crushing blow being the arrival of Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Victory Star Destroyer Overseer, formerly the Kingpin. Republic Shield forces rallied to the Overseer, and inflicted enough damage upon the Zodiac ships to force them to retreat. Once the vessel’s shields were disabled, the vessel withdrew from the combat zone, abandoning the attack on the platform. (RgF404)

Led Imperial reinforcements to support an Imperial attack led by the Dreadnaught Aquarius against a Corellian convoy near navigation buoys XTR25N and XTR25S. The escorting Coronet Security Agency and Republic Shield forces led by the Frigate Tango Base had started to turn back the Imperial assault, which was starting to fail its mission in preventing the convoy ships from reaching the navigation buoy XTR25S and their accompanying hyperpoints. The arrival of the vessel leading Imperial reinforcements helped Imperial forces step up the attack on the convoy and its defenders, and the transport group Xi arrived to bombard the convoy and the Frigate Tango Base. The vessel’s direct engagement of the Tango Base forced the Frigate to shy away, however the arrival of Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Strike Cruiser Kayak disrupted Imperial efforts, as the Kayak unleashed its weapons on the vessel, which was suddenly pinned down between the Frigate Tango Base and the Strike Cruiser Kayak. The Dreadnaught Aquarius was soon unable to contribute to the Imperial attack or lend assistance to the outgunned vessel, as the Frigate Horizon arrived on top of it and directed engaged it. Imperial forces were rapidly becoming overwhelmed, with the vessel soon succumbing to Republic Shield and Coronet Security Agency fire. The attack force broken, the remainder of the Corellian convoy was free to continue to its hyperspace points, and the Dreadnaught Aquarius was soon to follow the vessel in its demise. Destroyed by Republic Shield and Coronet Security Agency forces. (RgF409)
