Talk:Icons

Right per Heavy/Josh conversation in IRC, the useful icons we shall need shall be:

• Exec Office Icons
  • (HC,MOJ,IO,RO,HO,LO), possibly FC,XO as well?
• Fleet Icons (Past and present)
  • (PBF,R2F,PSG,IBG,RGF,VSG,RF,AF,VF)
• Platform icons
  • D6,EAW,Flightsim,JO/JA,writing,etc (simplified. Maybe a ship for flightsims,the characters "D6", a pen for writing, etc)
• Special Project icons
  • Unknown examples right now, but it's possible. Maybe proposals?

More to come! Platform specific icons should be very simple. This way if somone wants to link their ABG sheet, they can add the ABG fleet icon, and the D6 platform icon. this way when we no longer have fleets, we'll still know what it's for and what fleet it used to have for historical purposes.

I think my skillz in photoshop suck hard. Maybe we'll have TJ or someone else do it.

They look alright. The LO icon jumped out at me right away, although I was originally thinking black bkg's like the original LO icons. These however would give the icons more variety and be seen better. It's your choice if you want to keep making them or get TJ to work on them.

Yeah, I really don't know. I mean I want some color there, cause black and white is beginning to wear on me, but at the same time, you want everything to look uniform as well. I'll email TJ, and see what he can do.
