Any additions needed? Fcsuper 22:24, 18 July 2007 (EDT)

Looks great so far! Three things, looking at my page: 1) We need a place for a link to the RSers profile somewhere (perhaps even "Member Profile"?) -- supply a PIN and the template links to that profile. 2) It doesn't float quite right--it's not all the way at the top. 3) "Personal Information (Real Life)" is not bolded. I will take care of that. Good work! I think we can use this as everyone's infobox. Licah 15:00, 19 July 2007 (EDT)
1. Ok, barely wrote this template, and was surprized it works. :) I can't do that unless it's a raw entry of the http.
Ok, so update. The Template: New Republic character infobox as the same floating issue. Check out this profile: Leaph Chausew. Fcsuper 02:22, 20 July 2007 (EDT)
2. I've tried what little I know about infoboxes to correct. Nothing worked. It appears to be adding spaces to the top of the table for each field left blank in the table. I used the Charactor infobox as the foundation for this one, so I'm not sure what's going on.
3. Coolness.
4. Thank you! Hope this thing ends up being useful. :)

Well, I know the problem from a HTML standpoint: the blank entries aren't in a table row, so they are placed above the table, which makes the table look like it's forced down. You're correct in your analysis. The way to fix it is to make absolutely nothing appear if that field is not filled in. I'll look at it sometime when I have time to research wiki templates and the if-then syntax. Licah 17:51, 21 July 2007 (EDT)

limitation of this wiki version

If memory serves, I've tried to figure out the weird floating thing with alot of the templates..

it's a limitation of the wiki software for this version. Most of these templates were copied over directly from wookiepedia, and modified so they were on our old version.. this was the best we could come up with at the time Rekio and I worked on all of this.

I think we figured out the only way to fix was to upgrade our wiki, but we can't upgrade the wiki without upgrading MySQL first, which in turn forces us to upgrade our PHP version, and screws up the server software.. and yadda yadda yadda .

I'm not too sure there is a fix for it, but I'll put Licah as a God if he can find a way to fix it.
