Imperial vessel.

History

Led Imperial strike force against a Republic Shield convoy near a white comet (#97), shipping various supplies to a New Republic base near the Rolian system. Possibly given the location of the convoy’s whereabouts by Rolian Fanatics' patrol craft Karma, who may have incorrectly assumed the Rolian refugees were still onboard the freighters and were hoping for the Imperial forces to kill them unwittingly as part of their war with the New Republic. Engaged the supply convoy, overwhelming the light escort provided by Republic Shield, and massacred most of the convoy. The only real victory Republic Shield forces had against the Imperial attack was successfully escorting the shuttle Zak, carrying governors, out of the system, to the heavily-protected fleet rendezvous in the Vectain system. Imperial forces were engaged towards the end of the battle by the Modified Frigate Gry, which may have happened upon the slaughter and sought to abate it. Imperial forces had no need to retaliate, though, as the battle was soon over, with most of the convoy destroyed, and only a few survivors having escaped. Led Imperial forces out of the system in the wake of the Imperial victory in the system. (IBG305)
