    Stealth Capabilities

    This craft was designed with stealth in mind.

    • Under normal operations, it has a +40 DC defense vs sensors. (+15 from a sensor mask, +20 from Hybridium ECM Suite, +5 from passive sensors.)
    • The vessel may also run silent, powering down its weapons, decreasing speed to 50 MGLT. (Running silent +15 DC, Hybridium ECM Suite running silent mode +10 DC, 65 total.)
    • Additionally, the users may switch the Wisp's shields to a passive, transparent state. However, it has the effect of creating an extremely loud buzzing noise throughout the ship that prohibits anyone from using the Mental Focus skill. Treats the vessel as though it is hiding behind a planet or other massive body when in an area with even low amounts of interstellar particles (Nebula/asteroid fields/anywhere that isn't open space/in immediate orbit of a planet). Its effectiveness is halved in open space/orbit of a planet/etc. (+5 DC, +70 DC total -OR- +10 DC when not in open space, +75).
    • Finally, the vessel has been coated with a modified version of Reflec. This allows the pilot of the vessel to roll Hide at +3D when parking the Wisp. This roll sets the DC to detect the ship through a visual search check OR a Sensors check.

    Standard Payload

    Unless otherwise noted, the Wisp flies with the following onboard:

    • 1 AT-PT
    • 12 High Yield Proton Torpedoes (6 for each launcher) Range: 1/3/7, Damage: 15D (ST Scale) Damage, 50 SBD/RU

    Power Useage

    The Wisps' dual reactor cores have a maximum total output of 280 PU. They are capable of 'running silent' up to an output of 120 PU, allowing the Wisp to maintain the majority of the Wisps' non-combat systems while performing stealth operations. If the vessel would somehow be struck, there is a 10% chance that the Inertial Dampeners installed in the cores fail, reducing the silent output threshold to 80 PU.
