The YT-2400 '''''New Dawn''''' has been heavily modified to fill it's owner's role as a Bounty Hunting ship. The cargo hold of the vessel has been modified and has three acquisition chambers, force shielded pods used in holding captured prisoners, a small but well equipped medical station with pods coded to both voice lock as well as biometric scanners. The ship has many hidden onboard security measures in the event of a prisoner escape.

Abi took advantage of the YT-2400's adaptability, taking her ship to Kuat Drive Yards for a major overhaul prior to the destruction of the first Death Star. The standard engines were replaced with three Kuat Systems Engineering A-8X Engines. A modified YHi-120 Augmented Hyperdrive gives the New Dawn a Class 0.62 hyperdrive, which is significantly faster than most military vessels, which are either Class One or Class Two. Powerful Armek 'Plasma Web' shield generators, an illegal sensor stealth system and turret mounted Gyrhil R-9x Laser Cannons make the ''New Dawn'' a formidable ship that can outrun and outgun many ships of the same size.

Abi Ocopaqui was born to a textiles merchant in Coronet City on Corellia. Her mother died giving birth. As a child, her father had a spice addiction problem, and declining business prior to the Clone Wars coupled with his expensive addiction quickly put him into massive debt.

Unable to pay his debt, her father gave her as payment to the spice dealer. He then sold her to Crime Lord Kyran Silene, who raised her as a servant, and later as a dancing girl.

Abi grew up knowing nothing except the inside of Silene's compound, and as she grew her job became less and less that of a servant and more of a dancing girl. She was constantly used for both Silene's entertainment, as well as that of his guests.

When she was 17, Abi choked Silene to death and escaped with a decent pile of his credits. She was bitter at life for dealing her such a poor hand. She quickly joined a mercenary group, and after a while of gaining experience she struck out to become a Bounty Hunter.

She apprenticed under a number of bounty hunters who quickly taught her the lessons of being a good hunter. After completing her first solo hunt, she earned her Hunt status within the Bounty Hunter's Guild and struck out on her own.

After a series of successful Hunts, Abi purchased the New Dawn and her droid, ArThree. The beginnings of the Rebellion against the Empire was good for business, as both sides were offering decent bounties for what seemed to Abi to be easy collection.

But her focus in targets were pirates, spice dealers and slavers. She held a resentment against Silene and her father, whom she assumed was dead.

On one such hunt, she ended up Hunting a pirate, Halyn Jessik, who had been forced into service with the Rebellion, as Halyn Lance. Their interactions during the hunt convinced Abi to join the Rebellion.

She quickly joined up with Vanguard, and served as both a skillful pilot as well as a successful solo commando, using her Hunt status as cover. She served in many battles, and even worked in the defense of the development of the RZ-1 project.

As the war wound down and the New Republic was founded, Abi left the service to pursue bounty opportunities being placed on Imperial Officers.

Abi originally got involved in the RS in the realm of Star Wars: Galaxies, where he played a hot female Twi'lek doctor. Abi Ocopaqui was born to a textiles merchant in Coronet City on Corellia. Her mother died giving birth. As a child, her father had a spice addiction problem, and declining business prior to the Clone Wars coupled with his expensive addiction quickly put him into massive debt.

Unable to pay his debt, her father gave her as payment to the spice dealer. He then sold her to Crime Lord Kyran Silene, who raised her as a servant, and later as a dancing girl.

Abi grew up knowing nothing except the inside of Silene's compound, and as she grew her job became less and less that of a servant and more of a dancing girl. She was constantly used for both Silene's entertainment, as well as that of his guests.

When she was 17, Abi choked Silene to death and escaped with a decent pile of his credits. She was bitter at life for dealing her such a poor hand. She quickly joined a mercenary group, and after a while of gaining experience she struck out to become a Bounty Hunter.

She apprenticed under a number of bounty hunters who quickly taught her the lessons of being a good hunter. After completing her first solo hunt, she earned her Hunt status within the Bounty Hunter's Guild and struck out on her own.

After a series of successful Hunts, Abi purchased the New Dawn and her droid, ArThree. The beginnings of the Rebellion against the Empire was good for business, as both sides were offering decent bounties for what seemed to Abi to be easy collection.

But her focus in targets were pirates, spice dealers and slavers. She held a resentment against Silene and her father, whom she assumed was dead.

On one such hunt, she ended up Hunting a pirate, Halyn Jessik, who had been forced into service with the Rebellion, as Halyn Lance. Their interactions during the hunt convinced Abi to join the Rebellion.

She quickly joined up with Vanguard, and served as both a skillful pilot as well as a successful solo commando, using her Hunt status as cover. She served in many battles, and even worked in the defense of the development of the RZ-1 project.

As the war wound down and the New Republic was founded, Abi left the service to pursue bounty opportunities being placed on Imperial Officers. After quite a few years, she has been reactivated into Zealot Special Operations.

On one such hunt, she ended up Hunting a pirate, Halyn Jessik, who had been forced into service with the Rebellion, as Halyn Lance. Their interactions during the hunt convinced Abi to join the Rebellion.

She quickly joined up with Vanguard, and served as both a skillful pilot as well as a successful solo commando, using her Hunt status as cover. She served in many battles, and even worked in the defense of the development of the RZ-1 project.

As the war wound down and the New Republic was founded, Abi left the service to pursue bounty opportunities being placed on Imperial Officers. After quite a few years, she has been reactivated into Zealot Special Operations.

The YT-2400 ''New Dawn'' has been heavily modified to fill it's owner's role as a Bounty Hunting ship. The cargo hold of the vessel has been modified and has three acquisition chambers, force shielded pods used in holding captured prisoners, a small but well equipped medical station with doors coded to both voice lock as well as biometric scanners.

Abi took advantage of the YT-2400's adaptability, taking her ship to Kuat Drive Yards for a major overhaul prior to the destruction of the first Death Star. The standard engines were replaced with three Kuat Systems Engineering A-8X Engines. A modified YHi-120 Augmented Hyperdrive gives the New Dawn a Class 0.62 hyperdrive, which is significantly faster than most military vessels, which are either Class One or Class Two. Powerful Armek 'Plasma Web' shield generators, an illegal sensor stealth system and turret mounted Gyrhil R-9x Laser Cannons make the ''New Dawn'' a formidable ship that can outrun and outgun many ships of the same size.

==Rules==

1 - You are not a Jedi. No lightsaber, no magic powers. You're a soldier, and you might be damn lucky. Some years down the road Luke might show up and say "Hey, all that luck. Guess what? You're actually a Jedi!" But, not anytime soon.

2 - You're not a God. You might be a Hero, which means you have a leg up on Joe Random Rebelguy. You're still a human (or assorted alien). You can't take on the entire Empire by yourself, you can't destroy a SSD single-handedly. You *can* Die. If you write yourself into a corner, we're certainly willing to let you be a token lesson. So, don't go getting any delusions of grandeur.

3 - Our unit will be tasked with a certain objective based on the RS's current Tour of Duty. We're players in the overall campaign, so try and stay in the area of operations. On a mission, there might be a time where certain members will be required to complete tasks away from the others, but we've got to be focused on accomplishing certain goals. In the downtime, feel free to visit Corellia, Rori, wherever, but in the middle of the mission you won't be running off to Corellia unless it's part of the mission. We want you to be together as much as possible because we're a team.

4 - If your character is a member of another fleet participating in the RS ITOD, you may have to create another character for use within this writing group. Can't have you running around in two places.

5 - You are allowed one character to begin with. After a while you can approach the Zealot Squad command staff for consideration on being allowed a second PC. Those decisions will be on a case by case basis.

6 - Respect another player's character. If you want them to be in your post, approach the person whom the character belongs to. Give them a heads up, a rundown of what you plan on doing and them saying. Feel free to email them your post before-hand and let them get a little input. Better yet, use AIM/MSN/IRC/Phone/Whatever and do a joint post. Decide who is going to do all the narrative and then roleplay out your post. Copy/Paste/Edit.

The only time I would be comfortable with someone writing someone else's character without any input is if they know each other's characters well enough and are the other person is comfortable with saying "Yeah, just write me whatever" to the other person.

7 - Familiarize yourself with our current situation by pouring over the wiki. Weâ€™re in the Subterrel Strike Force. Read about our current situation, what ships make up the force, etc, etc, etcâ€¦. A good start is here: [[Subterrel_Strike_Force]]

8 - We are a special operations unit. We're going to be doing a little bit of everything. You'll get to fly, you'll get to ground pound, you'll even get to go covert. You'll drink in the bar. We're a jack-of-all-trades unit.

9 - If you want to play something outside the 'norm', feel free to contact the Command Staff prior to writing and we'll give you a decision. We don't want a bunch of Noghri Assassins running around in our unit, same as we don't want a million Verpine Slicers. Twi'lek, Bothan, Human is fine. As long as people don't go overboard, Mon Cal, Trandoshan, Rodian, etc is fine too. Gungans need not apply.

10 - We're gonna try and keep the writing PG-13ish. A little swearing is good, it's colorful. But no graphic sex, sexual descriptions/depictions, racism (except against Gungans, Ewoks, Hutts, etc). Keep in mind that we might have some younger PCs.
