The Rebel Squadrons '''High Command''' (HC) is the highest authority in the RS. It is a council made up of Voting, Non-Voting, and Honorary members. Voting members are the current [[Fleet]] [[CO]]s and the [[Aldermen]]. Non-Voting members are the Fleet [[XO]]s and Honorary are anyone who the [[RSFC]] or HC decides they want to hear from.

RF is the oldest fleet in the Rebel Squadrons. It was founded by [[FC]] [[Super]] in 1996 to serve as the Fleet Commander's personal fleet. It was designed from the start as a "miscellaneous" fleet. For all of its history it has been the home of RS groups and divisions that do not belong in any other fleet. Redemption is a home for ideas, big and small, and all new ideas begin here.

The '''Patriot Battle Fleet''' (PBF) plays [[X-Wing]] and [[TIE Fighter]].

The Patriot battle Fleet (PBF) Is one of the oldest fleets in the [[Rebel Squadrons]]. In July of 2006, [[Retribution Wing]] merged with the PBF. Now the PBF plays both [[X-Wing]] and [[TIE Fighter]] games. PBF also uses [[Yahoo%21Groups#Patriot_Battle_Fleet| Yahoo Groups]] to communicate between squadmates.

November 2006, Wings were deemed optional as the RS is/was going through some restructuring and fictional changes. This was also to help balance the fleet out as there was no wing level activity, and the wings were not balanced enough.

An upgraded version built around the XvT graphics engine was released in 1998 but was later found to have severe issues when combined with 3D Accelerators under Windows XP.
