Patrick Blastfire entered the RS in December of 1997 as a member of [[Renegade Fleet]]. He joined the ranks of [[Resurrection Squadron]] and, along with his squadmates, played an integral role in the defeat of the [[Emperor's Hammer]] in the [[Minos Conflict]]. While he's rarely found on the front lines of a space conflict in recent times, he was definitely one of the best pilots in the fleet during the height of the war. While he serves the Rebel Alliance, you will rarely find him at the controls of an X-wing or A-wing; he has always preferred Imperial craft, notably the Tie Interceptor.

As a Jedi Master, Blastfire is also highly skilled at ground combat. For a significant period of time, he served the [[RSCD]] as one of its best (if not ''the'' best) lightsaber duelists. While he'll always prefer to be soaring in the skies, he feels perfectly at home next to his fellow soldiers on the battlefield.

He has been involved with a number of units and positions, including:

IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. IRC is a massive network of text-based chat channels (rooms) and users all across the world. Using an IRC client, users can engage in real-time conversations with multiple people. Each specific IRC channel begins with a # and is dedicated to a different area of interest. IRC is considered another part of the technology of the Internet the same way FTP, Telnet and the Web are.

The Rebel Squadrons was once an [[AOL]]-based club, using its chat rooms for meetings and general discussion. As the club continued to grow, and in an effort to reach potential members outside of the AOL service, the primary means of real-time communication was moved to the IRC protocol (which is easily accessible to anyone with a connection to the Internet).

The Rebel Squadrons maintains a number of IRC based chat rooms, including a general chat room for all members, as well as more specialized rooms for many of the various fleets. This list includes rooms called:

The RSPA is the Rebel Squadrons' Player Association (Guild) in LucasArts'/Sony Online Entertainment's MMORPG Star Wars: Galaxies. It was founded shortly after the game's launch by [[Wes Belden]] and [[Patrick Blastfire]].
