<p>fictional description</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>The &#039;&#039;&#039;Command Fortress&#039;&#039;&#039; on [[Mercurius]] is the secondary command facility of the Rebel Squadrons, behind the primary facility [[Fleet Domed Command Complex]] on [[Blerthmore]]. Considered a posh posting, the Command Fortress is situated in a beautiful open prairie of tall, green grass on a planet with a lighter gravity and mild weather. It is an extremely modern facility. Unlike the Command Dome on Blerthmore, it is laid out in a sprawling fashion. Walls mark off an area of nearly 20 square kilometers. Within this facility are a number of stately halls, office buildings, armories and even open courtyards. There is no shortage of space and even the lowliest ranking officer posted to the Command Fortress has quarters twice as large of those standard in New Republic facilities.
