= RS Military Overview =

The RS unit structure has been modified from the New Republic norm due to their unique state in the galaxy. As a mobile defense force, the RS has organized their units to be able to be deployed on starships as entire units as opposed to requiring multiple transports for a single coherent unit. For example, the RS Division size is such that an entire RS Division can be stored on their Flagship along with a few platoons and companies of very specialized troopers. This has resulted in tight-knight units with superior coordination and cooperation within the units. The RS, overall, fields less Divisions than a comparable fleet, but makes this up with superior equipment and training.
