This '''RS X-Wing reboot''' seeks to re-energize participation in [[X-Wing]] in the Rebel Squadrons. It follows the monthly participation and skills rewards in the [[RS Minecraft proposal]]. The skills follow the pattern of [[Beginner's Path]]. Badges reward regular activity, while skills reward one-time achievements.

== Monthly participation ==
First, calculate points for monthly participation. This will ask the platform coordinators to set an achievement level in mission score, so they or another officer will have to either fly the mission well to find this out, or use old scores if the mission has already run.

* 1 pt (Reporting on mission)
* 1 pt (Completing mission)
* 1 pt (Getting a "great" score, must be set for every mission, e.g. 40,000)
* 1 pt (Writing a narrative)
* 1 pt (Reporting a mission complete on three historical missions)

Earn one badge per monthly scoring session, with points totals meriting badges as follows:

* 1 (Iron Badge)
* 2 (Bronze Badge)
* 3 (Silver Badge)
* 4 (Gold Badge)
* 5 (Diamond Badge)

Badges stackable in 5s, signified by perhaps a silver border. Displayable in medals box, prominently placed on RS profile.

== Skills ==
RS profile displays "X-Wing skill:"

Skill level 0-20. 0 indicates no tasks completed. 10 should indicate high level of competence. 20 should indicate complete expert and high achiever.

Points given as follows:
* 1 pt (Reporting a score higher than 0 on any X-Wing mission)
* 1 pt (Completing any X-Wing mission)
* 2 pt (Earning a Diamond Badge above)
* 1 pt (Successful "credit" completion of X-Wing [[ComTac]])
* 1 pt (Successful "credit" completion of Y-Wing ComTac)
* 1 pt (Successful "credit" completion of A-Wing ComTac)
* 1 pt (Successful "credit" completion of B-Wing ComTac)
* 2 pt (Successful "medal" completion of all four ComTacs)
* 2 pt (Custom mission of one's own choice made and approved for [[Mission Database]])
* 2 pt (Custom mission designed according to platform coordinator's wishes, and approved for Mission Database)
