==History==
Arrived at the rendezvous point for Republic Shield forces before heading out into the [[Desdemona Sector]] to investigate reports of missing warships. Part of [[Sentinel task force]] led by the Star Destroyer ''[[Liberator]]''. Reinforced the Star Destroyer ''[[Prometheus]]''â€™ forces at the rendezvous point, repulsing the Imperial invaders led by the Modified Frigate ''[[Pronota]]''. (R2F800)

Part of Republic Shield attack force led by the Star Destroyer ''Prometheus'' against the main Imperial fleet stationed in the Desdemona Sector, led by an Imperial Warlord. Arrived after the ''Prometheus''â€™s task force had already drawn Imperial attention towards the Interdictor ''Chains of Justice'' and its interdiction abilities. The vessel was part of the second task force led by the Frigate ''[[Vespia]]'', which flanked Imperial forces from the other side. The Interdictor ''Chains of Justice'' engaged its interdiction field, preventing withdrawal of Imperial forces, forcing them to battle. The odds stacked against the vesselâ€™s forces improved with the defection of [[Abandon forces]] led by the Strike Cruiser ''[[Nightshade]]'', who spontaneously attacked Imperial forces, forming a three-way surrounding force pushing inward towards the Warlordâ€™s flagship, the Star Destroyer ''[[Indomitable]]''. The withdrawal of the ''Chains of Justice'' to spare it from destruction seemed to open up the possibility for Imperial victory, or at least enable the escape of the ''Indomitable'', however Abandon and Republic Shield forces were more successful than expecting, outmanoeuvring and overcoming the Imperial forces, destroying the ''Indomitable'' and its supporting ships. Part of Republic Shield defences led by the Star Destroyer ''Prometheus'' at the diplomat transfer between Republic Shield and Abandon forces in the Desdemona Sector. Defended against Imperial attempts to disrupt the negotiations led by the Strike Cruiser ''[[Vicious]]'', and helped drive off the attackers, allowing the diplomatic craft to safely arrive onboard the opposite factionâ€™s vessels. Followed the Frigate ''Vespia''â€™s lead in rushing to reinforce the Star Destroyer ''Prometheus'', which had been pulled out of hyperspace unexpectedly, possibly through use of a form of interdiction mine and ambushed by Imperial forces led by the Dreadnaught ''[[Black Knight]]'', soon after the diplomat transfer with Abandon forces had taken place. The question of a spy amongst Republic Shield forces was considered, as Imperial communications traffic hinted at the fact, and the Abandon ambassador onboard the Frigate ''Vespia'' was not above suspicion. Arrived late into the battle, as the ''Prometheus'' was retreating back towards the ''Vespia''â€™s anticipated position. Part of Republic Shield reinforcements that followed the ''Vespia'' in driving the remaining Imperial forces back, helping destroy all of the attacking capital ships. (R2F804)

Part of Republic Shield forces led by the Modified Frigate ''[[Angelfire]]'' attempting to withdraw from the [[Havion system]] in the wake of an Imperial ambush on the Strike Cruiser ''[[Hammer of Justice]]''. The ''Angelfire'' and its support ships had powered down all but essential systems while a navigational course out of the system could be plotted, to minimise attracting Imperial attention during the withdrawal. However, Imperial forces led by the Star Destroyer ''[[Impeccable]]'' discovered the task force, and led an attack force against the ''Angelfire'' and the accompanying vessels. Republic Shield forces intercepted the attacking forces, devastating the Imperial attack force; however the vessel was heavily damaged by overwhelming Imperial fire. Imperial forces began moving to intercept the Republic Shield task force however the vessel moved with Republic Shield forces to the hyperpoint and escaped from the Imperial attack force. (R2F903)

Part of Republic Shield task force led by the Star Destroyer ''Prometheus'' from the edge of the Havion system en route to [[Ostia VI]] when the Imperial Interdictor ''[[Snare]]'' wrenched the task force out of hyperspace, as part of an ambush by Imperial forces led by the Escort Carrier ''[[Swarm]]''. Part of Republic Shield forces led by the ''Prometheus'' in a clash against the Imperial attackers, quickly turning the ambush around on the Imperial forces. Republic Shield forces bombarded the Escort Carrier ''Swarm'', the Interdictor ''Snare'' and the platforms ''[[2A3]]'' and ''[[2A4]]'', disabling the stations and heavily damaging the Imperial command ships. Moved with the modified corvette ''[[Marauder]]'' to perform docking operations with the disabled platforms, while Republic Shield forces crushed the remaining Imperial resistance, destroying the Interdictor ''Snare'' and the Escort Carrier ''Swarm'' before they could limp from the combat zone. The vessel docked with the platform ''2A4'' while the modified corvette ''Marauder'' docked with the platform ''2A3''. Republic Shield forces patrolled the area while both corvettes successfully captured the Imperial stations. Helped co-ordinate security of the area while the captured outposts could be properly secured. (R2F904)
