He had some of his loyal friends wait for him and he ejected, left the TIE-Phantom's for a salvage craft to later disect and learn of it's capabilities. He had the drive to steal Imperial hardware so their band of mutineers can have a chance in an event of a firefight in deep space. He ordered loyal technicians to improve it's handling and make it more reliable in space combat. 	Only child of a ranking engineer in Kuat, heir to large fortune and business operation, orphaned at a very young age after the ~~empire~~ seized control of Kuat's ship production facilities. Brought up to the care of trusted servant after the ~~imperial~~ forces drove off those that resisted the taking, Kru's parents were forced in labor mines while Kru, grew up in the junk yards learning a rough trade of ferrying scraps and material to and from shipyards around Kuat.
