Days, more formally known as Galactic Standard Days are a unit of measurement in the galaxy, based on the duration of time that passes during one day/night rotational cycle of the planet Coruscant.

A day is twenty-four hours in duration.

In accordance with the Galactic Standard Calendar, days are generally grouped together into weeks and months, with a few notable exceptions.

There are five days in a week, and thirty-five days in a month, however the three festival weeks and individual festival days remain outside the standard ten months, in the case of the former, and of months and weeks, in the case of the latter.
