Imperial vessel. Part of the Zodiac Battle Fleet.

History

Stationed at the Synastry facility while waiting for the rest of the Zodiac Battle Fleet to arrive at the rendezvous point. Present during an undercover Republic Shield reconnaissance operation led by the captured Victory Star Destroyer Kingpin. The Kingpin used its battle damage to fool Imperial forces into preparing a repair operation while a reconnaissance force roamed the area collecting data of the assembled craft. The reconnaissance operation was revealed when the Calamari Cruiser Sagittarius arrived and alerted Imperial forces to the true allegiance of the Kingpin. The Victory Star Destroyer then attempted to withdraw from the outpost while Imperial forces attempted to bring it down. They failed, as the Kingpin and its reconnaissance force escaped into hyperspace. (RgF402)

Part of an Imperial task force led by the Victory Star Destroyer Libra that waited beyond the ambush point where an Imperial strike force led by the Calamari Cruiser Sagittarius had successfully ambushed a New Republic task force led by the Strike Cruiser Sulu which had been lured away from defensive duty at the platform Katana. After Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Victory Star Destroyer Overseer succeeded in rescuing the disabled New Republic warships and abating the Calamari Cruiser Sagittarius’s forces’ attack, the vessel followed the Victory Star Destroyer Libra in a micro-jump into the combat zone, and directly engaged the Victory Star Destroyer Overseer along with the Libra. Assault transport group Epsilon launched from the Victory Star Destroyer Libra, and transported a boarding party and commandos to retake the ambushed Victory Star Destroyer Overseer. Continued bombarding the Overseer until the Victory Star Destroyer was securely under Imperial command. (RgF405)

Headed Imperial detention force responsible for holding the captured Victory Star Destroyer Overseer while awaiting a prison ship to arrive and take the captured crew from the Overseer. Republic Shield undercover forces disguised as the anticipated Imperial force led by the Escort Carrier Gemini arrived escorting the freighters Triton I and Triton II, which were presented as the ships available to relocate the prisoners from the Victory Star Destroyer. However, Imperial forces did not realise until too late to act that the supposed prison ships were not vectoring towards the Overseer, as they were instead bearing down on the Frigate Pisces and the vessel. The freighter Triton I, loaded and wired with explosives, rammed the Pisces, permanently decommissioning it, leaving the vessel to co-ordinate Imperial defences alone. However, before the vessel could react to the tactical situation, the freighter Triton II collided with the vessel, seriously damaging its shield systems, and severely weakening it for the upcoming engagement. Led Imperial forces against Republic Shield forces led by the Escort Carrier Gemini, and co-ordinated Imperial assaults on the Gemini. Failed to prevent a repair crew from the transport Servo from boarding the Overseer, which overpowered Imperial guards onboard, and set about restoring the Victory Star Destroyer to operational status. Republic Shield forces foiled Imperial counteroffensive efforts, and allowing the transport Servo time to complete repair operations of the Overseer. This spelled doom for the vessel, as the Victory Star Destroyer opened up its weapons, overloading the vessel’s remaining shield systems and gouging deep scores into the hull. Despite attempts to fight back against the Overseer, the vessel perished under concentrated volleys from the Victory Star Destroyer. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (RgF407)
