Imperial vessel, flagship of Imperial Warlord Admiral Cohn. Head of Imperial task force that the Victory Star Destroyer Desperado was part of before its destruction.

    History

Probed by undercover Republic Shield reconnaissance force at the task force’s asteroid base Chasm in a remote asteroid cluster in the Dotani Sector, not far from the Binaural Sector. The Escort Carrier Nebula unwittingly led Republic Shield forces to the restricted Imperial space, after it retreated from the Republic Shield victory which saw the destruction of the Victory Star Destroyer 'Desperado. Scanned and identified by Republic Shield reconnaissance force, which was using an Imperial starfighter from the Desperado which was captured during the Victory Star Destroyer’s attack on a New Republic supply platform in the Meridian Sector. Discovered to be involved with an apparent pirate force, suspected to be Imperial forces undercover. (RgF303)

Ambushed by Republic Shield forces led by the Frigate Horizon. Was unable to hold off the attack, and was disabled in the battle. A boarding party onboard the transport Spectre launched from the Horizon, intending to board the vessel, but reinforcements including the Frigate Daveen II exited hyperspace directly above the vessel and destroyed the boarding craft before it was able to commence docking procedure. The Muurian transport Phito arrived not long afterward to repair the vessel, while the Strike Cruiser Banton caused Republic Shield forces to withdraw from the engagement. (RgF305)

Present at Chasm base during attack by Republic Shield and defecting Imperial forces led by the Star Destroyer Wyvern. The major Imperial reinforcements had failed to arrive and fortify the base, causing the vessel to abandon it. However, minor Imperial reinforcements, led by the Interdictor Vampirous and backed up by the Frigate Tintor arrived to cover the vessel’s escape from the combat zone, and then hold off pursuit by the activating of the Vampirous’ interdiction field. Escaped from Chasm base before the complex was destroyed by the Wyvern’s forces. (RgF311)

After escaping the Star Destroyer Wyvern’s assault on the asteroid base Chasm, the vessel ended up caught by the Interdictor Raging Dragon’s interdiction field, possibly along one of the exit vectors from the base predicted by Republic Shield forces. The Raging Dragon’s attempts to hold the vessel were proving taxing to the Interdictor, as by the time the first wave of Republic Shield reinforcements arrived to engage the vessel the Interdictor’s shield systems were failing. The vessel led Imperial forces against the ambushing Republic Shield reinforcements, while still maintaining a steady bombardment of the Interdictor. The vessel’s chances were improved by the arrival of Imperial reinforcements led by the Dreadnaught Serpentine. However, this positive was quickly setback by the arrival of Republic Shield reinforcements proper led by the Frigate Horizon and backed up by the Strike Cruiser Apostate, who both directly engaged the Serpentine, quickly overwhelming the Dreadnaught. The vessel’s situation became increasingly desperate, as Republic Shield forces pounded it into submission. Unable to hold the attacking forces at bay, the vessel succumbed to the overwhelming attack. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (RgF312)
