IBG 5.03

Greeting pilots, Djapana went on leave for about a month, so I will be taking over til he gets back.

First order of buisness, ibg503. We only got about 13 hours to go. To be honest i got caught up at work and forgot to fly til now, so as soon as i log off for an hour or two i will fly it myself. We have had only one pilot report in so far a 0. If you know you cant fly, try to at least sign in a 0.

Next up, AWOL check. Please report in for IBG 503 or contact me by January 31st or you will be placed as AWOL. In addition, we already have 3 on AWOL status right now, and have been that way for awhile now. If you do not remove yourself from AWOL status or contact me by the 31st, you will be removed from the roll.

Still waiting on ITOD 504

Hey all, Just wanted to give a brief update, we are still waiting on ITOD 504. Hope to see it come out soon so we can all fly. Also wanted to update you in that we lost CDTS Joshua, Sil, and Palermo the other day. They seem to have disappeared compeltely, and after much patience they were removed from our roll call. We also seem to have lost Black Sun and Truax for some reason, not exactly sure why they are no longer on our roll, they seem to have changed to reserve status, so I will have to check into it. On a good note however, we have added one 2LT Reaver the other day, as I mentioned in a bried news flash about an hour after i sent out the newsletter for the squadron the other day. Welcome LT, we hope you enjoy your stay here, and i must say you seem to be a good active pilot, and we like that here.

This adjusts our squadron to 5 members, so we should see a marked improvment in our reporting in this next mision when it comes out. Hopefully Djap will return from leave in time to fly the mission, making a 100% report rate for the next mission conciveable. Heck, if the Patriot Fleet's last ITOD had 47/48 pilots report in, I know we can get 5/5. Til the mission comes out, good flying, hope to see you all in space soon.

Third, welcome to 2LT Garca Moismonbur and MAJ Primlar, 2 transfers in from the old Stinger squadron. I know you will miss your old sqaudron, make yuourselves at home again, welcome. If you'll need anything just be sure to ask.

Finally, before i go, IBG 504 is out and is due March 16th. BE sure to fly and report in, and if you can't get a report in, be sure to report a 0 to let us know your here with us.

Draco update: March 18, 2005

well Draco's We had a good fight for 1st, but in the end Dagger pulled well ahead of us and we placed second. We had 6 pilots report out of 10, since we have 2 pilots on LOA, that means only 2 pilots failed to report in, a good job to all. I am proud of all of you.

I will be putting out a newsletter in a day or so, so stay tuned.

Draco Squadron Newsletter, MARCH 19, 2005

Body Draco Squadron newsletter March 19, 2005

Well all, Here is the latest newsletter for Draco Squadron, I want to take the time to again thank everyone who flew in IBG 504. We had a good showing placing second in squadron standings, with 2 Draco's; JMGOO and Richo taking 3rd and fourth place respectivelly

Since activity in the squadron is way up, we wont run our next roll call until the next ITOD due date is set. It should be out shortly and i will let you all know when it is due. Easiest way to report in will of course be to fly the mission or report a zero as always. by reporting a 0 you help us with our reporting percentage per mission.

This brings me to our activity level. We have 10 pilots, of those 10, 2 were on leave during the last itod and did not fly. Of the 8 remaining pilots, 6 flew the mission and reported in for a 60% reporting rate. This is good and can only get better now that we have active pilots in the squadron.

We have 3 promotions to report: 2LT Stirlitz, front and center: For flying IBG 504 and taking the initiative to write a narrative, you are hearby promoted to 1st LT. 2LT Garca Moismonbur, front and center: Since graduation you have shown activity by flying IBG 503 and 504, you are hearby promoted to 1st LT. 2LT Reaver, front and center: In addition to completing basic training, you have flown all of the historical ITOD IBG 101-112 missions, you are hearby promoted to 1st LT.

For all our new pilots, the best way to get promoted is by showing activity. Flying old missions (which earns you 1 merit point per mission flown) flying the current mission and reporting on time and writing mission narratives are all ways to show your acitivty in the RS, and a good way to earn a promotion. If you do report on an old mission, be sure to report it on the IBG ITOD message board, and zip a messgae to me and Djapana to remind us to look.

We have no medals to report at this time. Well, that raps up this addition of the Draco newsletter. For now, good flying and May the Force be with you. MAJ Brig Dolaree Draco XO/IO Chiintal Wing IO Requeim 11 Ragnarok 2 Internet Team XO

IBG 505 is out Hey all, IBG ITOD 505 is now out, if you have not heard. The due date for the mission is April 25th. So for this months AWOL Check, you have the option of: 1. Fly the mission and report; 2. Dont fly the mission and report a 0; 3. Email me and djapana letting us know you are alive by the 25th. Those on LOA wont have to worry, I know ya'll get busy out in the real world.

The best thing to do is just to report either way. The reporting pilots were awarded the Golden Chalice for the last mission as we had the highest reporting percentage in the fleet. Reports of 0 do count in the percentage, so even if you cant fly, it shows we have a very active squadron.

Staff news: Well ya;ll have heard it from Djapana, he is stepping down as the CO and will be taking the role of XO. I myself will be stepping up to CO. Also, MAJ Primlar is taking over as SO. Primlar is an active member of the RS, and also serves serves in the Patriot Battle Fleet. Major, dont worry much about extra work, the major job duties for SO are taking over if both the CO and XO are LOA or otherwise engaged with something else, and to encourage the squadron to fly.

That is all, good flying everyone and may the force be with you. MAJ Brig Dolaree Draco CO/IO Chiintal Wing IO Requeim 11 Ragnarok 2 Internet Team XO

Draco Squadron Newsletter, July 9, 2005

Hey all, Sorry, it has been awhile since i sent out a newsletter. IBG 506

Congradulations pilots, on earning the Commander's Golden Chalice for reporting. It pays to report in, even if unable to actually fly the mission. Congradulations also to Richo on a Silver medal also for the last mission. We did good, and came close to taking home the top squadron in the mission.

Roster Changes Next up on the agenda, I regret to inform you all that we have lost two good pilots today, Stirlitz and Morrigan. They have both recently contacted me for the following reasons. Morrigan stated that she just isnt wanting to fly anymore and to go ahead and take her off the roster, and Stirlitz asked to go on reserve status in the fleet as he is burning out on the flight simulators, but is still present on the RS. I regret losing these 2 fine pilots.

Promotions I have not had a chance to check for promotions lately, but will be taking a look at it over the course of the next mission, so be certain to keep up the good work.

IBG 507

No word yet on the release date, keep your eyes out for it.

IO postition IT has come to my attention that I my time is harder to come by as of late, so if anyone is interested in taking over the Internet Officer Position for Draco Squadron, shoot me an email. For those of you who are new it is a good way to get involved in the life of the RS and the IBG. It is also a good way to earn merrit points.

LOA I will be LOA due to my work schedule til August 7th though i will be in and out of the office and checking email fairly often if ya'll need me. MAJ Brig Dolaree Draco CO/IO Chiintal Wing IO Requeim 11 Ragnarok 2 Internet Team XO

Opps, Forgot to mention that Djapana has aslo retired leaving open the XO spot. Which I am happy to offer to MAJ Primlar who is currently serving as SO. If Primlar accepts, that will leave the SO slot open. Also, again, if you are interested in being IO, let me know. That is all.

Hi all, I am back from leave now,

Dont forget IBG 507 is due on August 14th, 2005. We already have 3 reports in, and I should get my flight in wedsnday or thursday. We only have one pilot LOA now, so we should potentially get as many as 7 of 8 pilots reporting, so lets go for it.

Subject welcome 2LT Muler Olosa // Less than 2 days to go for IBG 507

First of all, welcome to Draco squadron 2LT Muler Olosa, you our now in our number 3 slot. This brings us all to 8 active pilots, with only one of us LOA we could still get in 7 reports on the current mission

Speaking of which, IBG 507 is winding down, less than 2 days now, the reporting deadline is August 14, 2005, so be sure to get a run in. If you cannot get a run in, be sure to report a 0 on the ITOD boards. High Reporting even if a 0 always makes you eligible for the Commander’s Golden Chalice. May the Force be with you all, and good flying.

Subject DRACO SQUADRON NEWSLETTER 11/1/05

My apologies for the long delay in newsletters. First up, IBG 509 is out and the due date is set as November 25th, 2005. I hope everyone gets out and flies and has fun. This mission is suppossed to feature alot of dogfighting. As of today, no one from Draco has gone out and flown the mission. Since this is the last mission of the Season, Lets get out and fly to leave the year on a good note.

The results for IBG 508 had us come in last in the squadron standings, with only 3 reports for the entire squadron. I know we can do better than this.

Which brings me to my major announcement for this newsletter. I am sad to announce that I will be retireing from the RS and entering into the Fleet Reserves after IBG 509 is complete. I have alot of real life issues to take care of, none of which are bad, just very time consuming. I am looking for a new full time job as well am begining to plan getting married in the upcomming year, and this leaves me with very little or no time to devote to the Rebel Sqaudrons for the very near future.

I trust the Himm and Ton will pick a good CO for the squadron, if anyone is interested in taking over Draco, please contact one of them for more information. I plan on staying on and submitting final promotion and medal awards before my retirement becomes official and I make my retirement announcement public.

I may return from retirement after a year or two in a limited role for the RS, but until then, May the Force Be With You All.
