Imperial vessel. Part of the Star Destroyer Deathbringer’s task force.
History
Engaged interdiction field near New Republic supply platform Terminus, and successfully the Calamari Cruiser Ad Astra out of hyperspace before it could arrive at the station. Led Imperial forces in an attack on the Ad Astra while the corvette Talon II engaged the Calamari Cruiser directly. The Terminus station’s defences launched, but they were insufficient to repel the Imperial forces, and were too far away to reach the Ad Astra in time to be of much assistance. The Talon II and the Ad Astra traded blows, knocking the corvette’s shields out, while the Calamari Cruiser sustained sizable diminishment of shield strength. However, Republic Shield reinforcements arrived to defend the vessel, engaging the vessel’s attack forces, and Talon II fell, leaving only the vessel’s forces to engage the battered Calamari Cruiser. The vessel’s changes for success turned brighter with the arrival of the Frigate Daveen I and its forces. The battle dragged on, with the Ad Astra’s shield systems failing completely. Imperial control of the battle was further solidified with the arrival of the Dreadnaught Skami, which added its forces to the battle. The Calamari Cruiser Ad Astra sustained serious hull damage by the time Republic Shield reinforcements proper arrived, led by the Frigate Unforgiven, and backed by the Dreadnaught End of Days and the Strike Cruiser Kayak. Transport group Shock launched from the Unforgiven, and Republic Shield forces struck back at the Imperial forces, destroying the Frigate Daveen I and the Dreadnaught Skami, and wounding the vessel. The vessel disengaged its gravity well generators and attempted to flee, but it was also crushed by the reinforcements. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (RgF306)
