    Republic Shield vessel.

    History

    RgF 301

Arrived in the Meridian Cluster to reinforce Republic Shield forces already doing battle with Imperial forces led by the Victory Star Destroyer Desperado at a New Republic supply platform. The vessel’s arrival forced the Desperado to withdraw from the system, but the damage had already been done, with the platform destroyed by a direct attack run by the Desperado before it departed.

    RgF 306

Part of Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Frigate Unforgiven against Imperial forces who had ambushed the Ad Astra, which had been forcibly pulled from hyperspace by the Interdictor Event Horizon a sizable distance from the supply platform Terminus that the Calamari Cruiser was attempting to reach. The Ad Astra had lost shield systems and sustained serious hull damage by the time the Unforgiven led Republic Shield reinforcements to its defence. Transport group Shock launched from the Unforgiven, and Republic Shield forces struck back at the Imperial forces, destroying the Frigate Daveen I and the Dreadnaught Skami, and wounding the Interdictor Event Horizon. The Event Horizon attempted to flee, but was also crushed by Republic Shield reinforcements.

    RgF 401

Part of Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Frigate Unforgiven in aiding New Republic forces led by the disabled Calamari Cruiser Valiant, which had fallen under attack by Imperial forces led by the Victory Star Destroyer Kingpin. Helped participate in the defence of the battered New Republic task force, aiding New Republic and Republic Shield forces in striking back against the Imperial attack force, disabling the Kingpin, and destroying the accompanying Dreadnaught Wrath and Frigates Killdeer and Blind Fury. Launched the shuttle Ghost I, which boarded the Victory Star Destroyer Kingpin and captured it, as well as the shuttle Ghost II and the transport Haunt, which delivered a flight crew and command crew, respectively. The transports Spectre I and Spectre II launched from the Frigate Unforgiven, the former repairing the disabled Calamari Cruiser Valiant, and the latter repairing the disabled Victory Star Destroyer Kingpin after the boarding party on the shuttle Ghost I had captured the Imperial command ship. The Imperial force was routed, and the captain of the Kingpin captured along with his ship, to be interrogated. Imperial reinforcements delivered to the combat zone by the Strike Cruiser Capricorn and the Frigate Taurus were also repulsed, securing the area from Imperial interloping forces. However the victory was not without price, as several of the New Republic craft were destroyed in the confrontation, including the corvette Solaris II.

    RgF 409

Led Republic Shield reinforcements to help bolster Republic Shield and Coronet Security Agency forces led by the Frigate Tango Base in protecting a Corellian convoy being assaulted by Imperial forces led by the Dreadnaught Aquarius and backed up by the Strike Cruiser Scorpio near the navigation buoys XTR25N and XTR25S. The convoy was attempting to reach navigation buoy XTR25S from navigation buoy XTR25N, with Imperial forces attempting to destroy them before they could reach their hyperspace points. The vessel pinned the Strike Cruiser Scorpio down between it and the Frigate Tango Base, raking it with fire, while the Frigate Horizon directly engaged the Dreadnaught Aquarius. Eventually the Imperial attack force was broken, with both the Dreadnaught Aquarius and the Strike Cruiser Scorpio falling to overwhelming fire from Coronet Security Agency and Republic Shield forces. The majority of the convoy successfully proceeded to the jump point, but there were losses: the modular conveyor Yensho III, the shuttle Escort II, and a freighter from the freighter group Dimorra failed to make the crossing intact.
