Biography
Kilyeron Savage led a fairly average life, despite being born on the planet Correlia. Born 16 years before the battle of Yavin, he was the only child of a middle-class human family. His father was an accountant in the old Republic administration. When the Republic transformed into the Empire, his father continued to be a civil servant. His mother was very active on the Holonet and was always personally upgrading the family’s computer system.
Growing up on Correlia, Kilyeron managed to avoid much of the rough and tumbleness of that system. Growing up his primary hobbies were computer games and playing 0 g cyberball. His first flying experience came at the age of 12, when his uncle first let him fly an old skyhopper. From that point on, Kilyeron dreamed of being a pilot.
As befits his conventional childhood, Kilyeron planned on joining the Imperial military. As time drew on and the atrocities of the Empire became clearer, Kilyeron decided to join the Rebel Alliance. He attended the prestigious University Of Michigan (located in the Ann Arbor sector) where he studied electronics. He also secretly took part in the Underground Rebel Officer Training Corps.
Upon his graduation from Michigan he enrolled in the Rebel flight training program. While there his classmates assigned him the callsign “Slicerâ€. He claims this was due to his ability to slice through Imperial simulator opponents, and vehemently denies that this was due to an accident with a table saw. After he graduated with honors, he was assigned to fleet forces supporting Blerthmore. His first taste of battle was in the defense of that system, and is eagerly awaiting his chance to slice through more Imperials.
