MacMan joined the RS in 1996. The bulk of his service in the RS has been spent in the PBF, which he was CO of on several occasions spanning the period 1997-2000. From June 1997 to January 1998 he was the RS's third Fleet Commander. He currently serves as CO of Blue Squadron in the PBF and sits on Honorary HC.
