Republic Shield vessel.

History

Assaulted by Imperial forces led by the corvette Blaanda. Disabled in the altercation. As Imperial forces closed in for the kill, the vessel launched the shuttle Last Chance to summon Republic Shield reinforcements. Republic Shield forces protected the Last Chance as it sped out of the combat zone, despite Imperial efforts to prevent it from leaving. (RgF101)

Despite the shuttle Last Chance escaping to summon reinforcements, Republic Shield forces were unable to rescue the vessel from its fate, as Imperial forces closed in to finish it off. Some survivors managed to escape the destruction of the vessel, and were later collected by Republic Shield recovery forces. Destroyed by Imperial forces. (RgF102)

Modifications

Behind the Scenes

This vessel was originally intended to be the Calamari Cruiser Ad Astra, and it is assumed that reinforcements successfully prevented the vessel’s destruction. However, the entire scenario in RgF101 is completely contrary to the rest of RgF Tour 1, implying that the mission is not the real RgF101 mission. In the absence of the real RgF101 mission, the Logistics Office has changed the Ad Astra to this doomed frigate, which perishes before RgF102 to correct the error.
