Game

The only difference is that helping someone will always gain you 1 level.

Fleets

Classes, essentially.

  • RF - Can hold an extra card; but is hard to leave, -1 to run away.
  • ABG - Gains an extra level when fighting alone, but you cannot be promoted past General.
  • IBG - You will win ties
  • RgF - Gains an extra level when fighting with someone,
  • PBF - Immune to curses, but can hold two less cards than normal
  • AF - Your ability to make up abilities for yourself increases your combat level by 4, but promotions are much harder to come by, and you earn 1 less per victory.
  • VF - Constant combat increases your combat level +1, but too much time spent fighting has decreased your ability to run away -1.
  • Dual membership

Levels

Ranks, essentially. You will win when you are promoted to Fleet Admiral, level 17.

  • Admirals (14-17): May only gain one rank at a time, but may ask any one player to assist with combat, and he or she must comply.
  • Generals (10-13):
  • Colonels (8-9)
  • Commanders (6-7)
  • Majors (5)
  • Captains (4)
  • Lieutenants (1-3)

Curses

  • SPYING FOR THE EH OMGZ (lose 2 ranks) You were caught spying for the Emperor's Hammer, releasing our most closely-kept secrets, such as the real nature of Sair's Hat. Shame on you!
  • Nuke Ronin (lose 1 rank)
  • Rocking Chair (lose your fleet) The chair addles your mind and forces you to leave any fleets you are in.
  • Corran Syndrome (lose your fleet) You have a new fleet CO. Within moments, your fleet vanishes.
  • World of Warcraft (lose one small item) The horribly addicting game makes you lose track of one of your items.
  • FTP error (lose all your items) You accidentally upload something to the wrong FTP directory and subsequently break the entire site you were working on.
  • Shikkie's Cadet Disaster - All players lose their rank (down to Lt j.g.), unless they were active in a fleet, to confirm their rank.
  • Double-edged Recognition of Rahj (gain 1 rank, but then you die) You are promoted for your work, but then it is discovered that your work is all LIES!
  • Fleet Downgraded to Wing Status (you lose your fleet affiliation and gain an RF card) Your fleet has been downgraded to a division in the RF. Oops!
  • Cyber with Mirei (lose one item and one level, all self-respect)
  • Curse of Jack (You must give one of your treasures to the highest ranked player) Just as Jack gave away Minos...
  • Promotion to Sector Admiral (Nothing happens) Sorry, that rank has been discontinued, plz play again!

Equipment

  • The Markus DURRRH (+5 weapon, PBF and ABG only, 2 handed)
  • Stallion's Sexy Dance (+2 weapon, +3 for RF)
  • Chrome Plated Anti-Stupid Stick (+2 weapon)
  • The Butt Nugget [from Ronin] (+3 armor)
  • Sair's Hat (+2 headgear) The famous hat.
  • Kaz's Crown (+3 headgear, +4 for RF) The very Crown that the King wears. If you are wearing this when you meet Kaz himself, he, in his rage, takes all your cards and discards, makes you lose one rank per card you had, and then forces the normal Bad Stuff to happen to you.
  • Stalker's Shoes (+1 footgear) Carefully urinated upon by Sair.
  • The Florida State Coin (+1 random pocket change) Showing IM leaning against a palm tree, eating a piece of chicken.

Items

  • The Wrath of Kaz (+12 to monster)
  • Combative Randy (+4 to monster, +9 if person is ABG)
  • High Command (+10 to either side in combat)
  • Council of Justice (+5 to either side in combat)
  • Licah's Hax (+6 to your side in combat, all but VF)
  • Control X (Instant victory; gain 1 level only, but take normal number of treasures)
  • IRC nick change (+2 to run away)
  • Vender's Shadow (Instant escape from any combat, and take 2 treasures)
  • The Jewl Boob Pics (Take 2 treasures from any monster you defeat)
  • Mike Bullian's Cape (+10 to combat, but only if you're in AF)
  • DoomWang (+10 to combat, but the sheer evil causes you to a lose a rank)

Monsters

RS members.

  • Reabel (lvl 1) He's not likely to hurt you even trying to defend himself. Automatic escape.
  • Sair (ferret) (lvl 1) He's lovable and furry, until you irritate him. Then he kicks you. Lose 1 rank.
  • Lefty (lvl 2) Since he was expelled, he hasn't been seen, but his name still surfaces in strange places at strange times... Lose one item.

  • Castor (lvl 6) Will not pursue Lieutenants.
  • Licah (fox) (lvl 8) You may not run, and you must lose either one item or one rank.

  • Rahj (lvl 16)
  • Dave (lvl 18) Confuses you with Latin. Lose 2 ranks. Will not pursue Commanders or lower.
