Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) is a MMORPG designed by Sony Online Entertainment and Lucasarts. In the Rebel Squadrons, Vanguard Fleet has been tasked with taking on this monumental game. Come join us on the Starsider server, where we have our home city in New Horizon, Rori.

Expansions
Jump to Lightspeed (JtL)
The first expansion to SWG was released in the summer of 2004. It added the much anticipated space component to the game, as the original game only involved the ground component. Some features that were added: the Sullustan and Ithorian species (for player characters), crafting of starfighters, space combat (PvE and PvP), another (quicker) mode of transportation, and, of course, the piloting professions (divided up by three factions- Rebel, Imperial, and Privateer).
Rage of the Wookiees (RotW)
The second expansion added a new area to explore, Kashyyyk, although not in the same manner as the existing planets (for the ground).
Trials of Obi-Wan (ToOW)
The most recent expansion added another world, Mustafar, though it was also limited on the ground like Kashyyyk was.
The Total Experience
A bundle of AED, JtL, and RotW, the Total Experience was designed to attract new players (by its convenience and price of $29.99) who had not yet played SWG.
