Shane Long has been with the Rebel Squadrons since joining the Academy in Sept 1999, he joined Red Squadron in Dec 1999. He has flown the majority of his time in the PBF in Red Squadron. In March of 2005 he was given command of Sabre Squadron and has flown with the squad ever since. He has not missed a mission since PBF tour 3.12, his first mission was PBF 2.05.
