PBF 701

Windstorm

Travelled from Tarsonis in the Greeop system out of the Greeop Sector, through the Minos Cluster to patrol the Rimma Trade Route near the planet Adarlon. While stationed near navigation buoy ADL-763-RTR the vessel hailed a convoy consisting of the freighter group Rallek escorted by the corvette Altair. The convoy did not respond to communication attempts. Launched Republic Shield forces, which buzzed the convoy and scanned cargo contents, revealing hidden illicit cargo. The convoy promptly fled into hyperspace along the vector of navigation buoy ALD-793-RTR. The corvette Altair soon returned from the same vector, as part of a pirate attack force led by the Frigate Hammerhead. Republic Shield forces scrambled to counter the newly-arrived threat, and in the ensuing melee the Imperial shuttle Chromium launched from the pirate Frigate Hammerhead signalling intentions to defect. The shuttle was given permission to land, and it entered the vessel’s hangar. The pirate forces soon broke off their main attack, the corvette Altair and Frigate Hammerhead withdrawing from the combat zone while more zealous elements of the pirate force continued to harass the vessel’s forces. Republic Shield forces wiped out the remaining pirate forces, and destroyed some nearby Imperial probes. The altercation was witnessed by the Star Destroyer Arcanus, which silently observed the proceedings before withdrawing from the area without interfering. (PBF701)

Arcanus

Arrived in the vicinity of navigation buoy ALD-973-RTR near the planet Adarlon. Observed from a distance the skirmish between pirate forces led by the Frigate Hammerhead and Republic Shield forces led by the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm. Entered hyperspace in the direction of navigation buoy ALD-973-RTR after pirate forces had withdrawn from the combat zone, aborting their attack on Republic Shield forces. (PBF701)

Altair

Escorted the freighter group Rallek in the vicinity of navigation buoy ALD-763-RTR near the planet Adarlon. Hailed by the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm. Ignored the Calamari Cruiser’s communication attempts. Republic Shield forces launched from the Windstorm and buzzed the convoy and the vessel, scanning the contents. The vessel and convoy responded by fleeing into hyperspace on the vector of navigation buoy ALD-793-RTR. Returned to the area near navigation buoy ALD-763-RTR from the direction of navigation buoy ADL-793-RTR as part of a pirate attack force led by the Frigate Hammerhead. After briefly battling with Republic Shield forces, the vessel withdrew from the engagement, as did the Hammerhead. Republic Shield forces were too busy dealing with other elements of the pirate attack force to prevent the vessel from withdrawing. The vessel and its activities were surreptitious monitored by the Star Destroyer Arcanus, which observed the proceedings from a discreet distance. (PBF701)

Hammerhead

Led pirate forces against Republic Shield forces led by the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm in the vicinity of navigation buoy ALD-763-RTR near the planet Adarlon. Originated from the from the direction of navigation buoy ADL-793-RTR with the corvette Altair, which had escorted a pirate convoy from the area not long before the vessel’s arrival. After briefly battling with Republic Shield forces, the vessel withdrew from the engagement, as did the Altair.
