The first planet on the fringes of the Genji system, Shotoku is a cold and entirely frozen planet. Amazingly, the entire surface of the planet is covered with a blanket of ice that is at least one thousand feet deep at every point. Some geologists argue that the planet never had a continental mass at all. Interest in the planet is a bare minimum, and it is assumed that there is nothing of value to be had on Shotoku.
