An extremely small planet, Yridia VI is roughly the size of most of the inner planetary moons. It’s small size and distance from α-Yridiae make it a rather cold place. It has a very thin atmosphere, and a mostly ice-covered surface. The ice is mostly frozen CO2 – only a very small percentage of the atmosphere remains as gaseous CO2. There is a large network of bases covering the surface for industrial mining purposes. The carbon-rich ore is used mostly in ship-building. There are also large deposits of rare minerals many of which are used in computer guidance systems. In addition to minerals, there is peculiar sub-terranean life which is very potent when used against some common bacteria. Both of these account for the primary exports of Yridia VI.
