Nikkala'Nuri is a purple twi'lek child. She was sold into service at age 8, she has very little memories of Ryloth, but is fluent in their native language. Having lived on many space ports with her owner she never got used to settling down in one place for too long. Then around her 18th or 19th year something changed. A Jedi came to the station she was on and started convincing the owners to find a new business avenue. This was the start of Nikkala'Nuri's big adventure. The Jedi found this twi'lek girl hiding in the corner, and having sensed her with the Force, smiled, knowing she was force aware. A brief conversation with the Jedi proved as much, but before the Jedi could not tell her more he had to rush off. Once realizing she was free, she ran to one of the ships in the hangar and left, and never looked back.

Nikkala'Nuri had learned a lot of interesting skills while on those space stations. She learned to speak basic, but not completely fluently. She also learned to tinker with things like blasters and space transports. Plus bouncing from one spaceport to another, gave her a chance to search for Jedi items and information. Each time her search would bring her to a new station, and each time with less and less info, until one fated day she was on the right station at the right time when she found a transport going to the Temple of Adhe Zion. This was her big chance, a real Jedi temple! Hitching a ride with Julliah, Nikkala'nuri sailed off into space, hoping to find some answers.
