It's heavily recommended to use some form of program to meet up with your friends and other RSers. Xfire can be installed from the Empire at War disc, so that's a great start. You can also find games via the program Gamespy, using a chat client like IRC, AIM, or ICQ. There are also many sites with ladders and competitions (to come soon).
