Excelsior receives its name from a long lost clan of heroic naval admirals. Initial settlers attempted to cultivate and work the land into a major trading post in the Outer Rim. While internal trade sustained the world, lack of contact with outside systems soon doomed the early inhabitants over time. Like Caelum, Excelsior displays lost ruins that give all a glimpse of the worlds past; mostly in the form of monuments and the recently uncovered Hall of Warriors where the fallen heroes lie.

Not quite a match in aesthetics as Caleum, Excelsior does have many similar traits, such as vast oceans, and varying terrains that can please most species perfectly. It has a certain simplistic draw to it, gathering those with a will to work to receive the hidden treasures. Mining operations have commenced, and a growing number of agricultural communities have spurred.
