Group of six Imperial vessels, four of which commanded by Captain Ala Khyser, Major Napell, Captain Minnoor Nefalk, and Lieutenant Commander Dirk Shilook, respectively. Part of an Imperial task force led by the Star Destroyer Darkstar. Later part of an Imperial task force led by the Star Destroyer Berserker.
History
Four of the vessels were part of Imperial forces led by the Star Destroyer Darkstar against the Frigate Echo Hawk. Republic Shield forces defended the frigate, holding Imperial attacks at bay until Republic Shield reinforcements led by the Calamari Cruiser Valour arrived to cover the Echo Hawk’s escape from the ambush. Withdrew from the combat zone when Republic Shield forces started harassing the vessel, following the Darkstar’s lead in conceding the combat zone. (PBF211)
Four of the vessels were witnessed by Republic Shield reconnaissance forces led by the Frigate Echo Hawk at an Imperial assembly point where Imperial forces led by the Darkstar lay in wait for Republic Shield forces to stumble into the ambush zone. Republic Shield reconnaissance forces scouted the location and waved off Republic Shield forces, sparing the forces from the massacre that would have befallen them. Withdrew from the ambush zone once the Frigate Echo Hawk escaped, warning the Republic Shield forces away from the trap. (PBF304)
One of the vessels attempted to prevent Republic Shield forces led by the Calamari Cruiser McGrath from destroying resupply freighters en route to Star Destroyer Kunder’s Glory near a navigation buoy. The vessel failed, as the resupply ships were wiped out, and the vessel itself fell in the process. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (PBF306)
Two of the vessels were part of an Imperial assault led by the Frigate Ravager II against Republic Shield reconnaissance task force disguised as a supply convoy led by the corvette Rebel Dream. Was prevented from preventing Republic Shield forces to escape with the reconnaissance data by forces led by the Calamari Cruiser Engel. (PBF308)
Three of the vessels were part of Imperial forces attempting to prevent Republic Shield forces led by Frigate Echo Hawk capturing the newly-built Frigate Black Rain II from an Imperial shipyard of Admiral Kunder’s. One was present as standing defences, and another two were part of Imperial reinforcements. (PBF309)
All six vessels were part of the second attempt by Admiral Hawk’s forces to reclaim the captured frigate, near a navigation buoy, led by the Star Destroyer Berserker. The Rebel Vengeance escaped yet again, protected by Republic Shield forces led by the corvette Onigami. It is believed that this group of vessels met their final end in this battle, after harassing Republic Shield forces for Hawk’s entire campaign. Destroyed by Republic Shield forces. (PBF311)
