Overview

• The Empire attempted to make Mon Calamari part of the Empire. When the Calamari resisted (passively), the Empire destroyed three of their cities from orbit. The Calamari then obliterated the Imperial fleet, sparking a bitter war between the Calamari and the Empire.
• Jan Dodonna gained relative hero status by saving the lives of a rebel group in the Silken Asteroid Field, when it came under Imperial assault.
• The lava beds under Rubyflame Lake on Centares, having been tapped by the Empire for a decade, were exhausted, leaving a ruinous landscape where a wonderful resort had existed during the Old Republic.
• The Galactic Empire began a mining operation on Karra for varmigio, based on incorrect information over 500 years old which was rediscovered by Darryn Edalm. The colony, as with the original mining colony centuries earlier, failed, leaving Edalm the governor of a relatively useless world.
• The Empire had decided to set up a permanent presence on Garos IV. Shortly thereafter, Tork Winger was made the first Imperial Governor of Garos IV.
• Imperial Counselor Baro was assigned to Garos IV.
• A Rebel uprising in Montellian Serat on Devaron ended after one group was captured and executed by forces loyal to Kardue'sai'Malloc, and the second group was then attacked by Malloc's forces. Afterwards, Malloc left Imperial service and departed from Devaron.
• Moff Wilhufff Tarkin established a refueling outpost on Ryloth.
• Stanton Rendar was killed in a freighter crash that destroyed part of Emperor Palpatine's private wing of the Imperial Museum. Infuriated at the loss of Jedi and Sith artefacts, Palpatine ordered the Rendar family stripped of everything they had and banished from the Core Worlds. This included the expulsion of Stanton's brother Dash from the Caridian academy.
• Tork Winger and Tionthes Turi created a truce to end the Garos IV/Sundari war. Imperial intervention kept both sides to the agreement.
• The Empire cracked down on any rebel activity on Garos IV.
• Alzoc III was subjugated upon its "discovery" by the Empire.
• The planet Flax came under Imperial jurisdiction (through business negotiations, not through force) and the local Flakax began working as miners for the Empire.
