Early life
Lived on Imperial-ruled Dicacia until family were declared traitors (hurray lack of free speech!) in the post-Endor period and was forced to flee the planet.

Parents assumed dead. Went on the run briefly. Ended up joining the New Republic military.

Trained up to be a pilot, assigned to Task Force Republic Shield and served adequately for a short time. Then an accident of some description took place, and he went AWOL.
