In accordance with the Galactic Standard Calendar, there are three festival days in each year, during which celebrations are held outside the normal counting of weeks and months.

The celebrations of the festival days have existed for over a thousand years, however they are under different names today than during the Old Republic of the Empire.

The three festival days recognised and celebrated by the New Republic are Endor Day, Restoration Day, and Liberation Day.
