Boskes is a very warm planet, and very humid. A large quantity of the planets surface is covered with water, though there are very few large bodies of water. A network of rivers, streams, and gorges covers the entire planet, with tall trees dominating the land. Tropical in nature, it rains several times each week.

Settlers live inside reinforced buildings to protect themselves from some of the more aggressive predatory species living on Boskes.
