David Vaughan is a Human male from Dicacia and is the current RS Logistics Officer. He is heavily involved in logistics and tactical work for the task force.

Biography

Early life

Lived on Imperial-ruled Dicacia until family were declared traitors (hurray lack of free speech!) in the post-Endor period and was forced to flee the planet.

Fugitive

Parents assumed dead. Went on the run briefly. Ended up joining the New Republic military.

New Republic service

Trained up to be a pilot, assigned to Task Force Republic Shield and served adequately for a short time. Then an accident of some description took place, and he went AWOL.

Civilian life

During this time Dicacia was liberated by the New Republic and it was revealed his family weren't executed, merely imprisoned.

Return to service

Eventually he answered the call to return to active duty, and after a stint as a squadron commander gave up flying for a cushy office job on the flagship organising the entire task force's logistics needs.
